Thanks to our good friend Marcio we got some news that, right now in Brazil, they're starting a 2011 BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys Promotion at McDonalds ( In Brazil they call it "Mc Lanche Feliz" ). But the cool thing is that the toys are completely different than the ones we just had here in the USA. For Brazil, it looks like they have gone back to the regular-size toy & there are 4 of them to collect: The PENGUIN in his Penguin-Submarine, a PLASTIC MAN Figure, BATMAN in his BAT-COPTER ( or Bat-Gyro! ), and the JOKER'S Jokermobile Car! Here's a quick post to share this photo sent in by our good buddy "Batmobilly". The BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD McDonald's Happy Meal Toys came out the other day & I've been so busy the last few days that I have not been able to go see what they look like. Now, when you buy a Kid's Meal there you get 3 small figures or maybe 2 small figures & a vehicle. Here are the ones Batmobilly got: The Penguin, Batman, & the Batmobile!! I think these are pretty cool & I seriously plan on hitting this restaurant tonight. Oh yeah, as a side-note: If you don't want to gag-down their food ( ha ha ) THEY DO SELL the toys separately. Just ask them. In fact, if you can find a cool Restaurant Manager he will build a complete set for you. But personally, I love their Cheeseburgers so I usually get the food, ha ha!
The Bat-Blog was one of the very 1st websites to announce that the next Happy Meal Toys at McDonalds were going to be "Batman: The Brave and The Bold". Here's the deal, with each meal you get 3 toys. Yes, you read that right, THREE toys, ha! There will be 8 waves of 3 toys each, making that 24 toys total! It also breaks down as 4 vehicles & 20 figures, whew! Now, we're not quite sure of their size just yet but I'm guessing they'll be way smaller than regular McDonald's Happy Meal Toys. But either way these look extremely cool! Oh yeah, these should be coming out around April 29th, 2011.
Here's some great news for wacky-crazy BATMAN Toy Collectors! The next Happy Meal Toy Promotion at McDonalds will be BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD! This is the 2nd time they have promoted this TV cartoon so that's cool! I guess the 1st time was pretty popular! OK, This news is so early we don't even know what the toys are gonna look like or how many there will be. There are also NO photos yet. But, be sure to stay tuned to the Bat-Blog and as soon as we know, you'll know!
Starting next week be sure to visit McDonald's for their next Batman-related Happy Meal Toy Promotion. OK, it's actually for the new YOUNG JUSTICE animated TV series from the Cartoon Network, but there will be Batman and Robin toys included, ha! Just check your local restaurant for details. What's the deal here?! Were these made for the foreign market? And if so, then from where? It shows 4 different pens to collect: Batman, Catwoman, The Penguin, & even the Batmobile Car! Well, I guess that these are now officially on my wish list. But that's cool, there's always something new to hunt for!

Regular readers of the Bat-Blog are gonna know about our good friend "Batmobilly". He's a Super Batman Toy Collector whose main focus is on the Batmobile Toys. Well, he recently got one of the McDonald's Happy Meal Toys from Argentina of the Brave & The Bold Batmobile and looking at it he thinks the new one for the US market will probably be the same thing. The car is actually an empty shell that comes apart to reveal a hidden bat-cycle inside. Remember, the new toys from McDonalds in the US should be out pretty soon so be sure to keep an eye out for them ( Thanks to Batmobilly for sending the fun pics ).
Finally! Today, McDonalds released a photo of what the new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys for the US market are gonna look like ( click on the pic up above for a larger version )!! There will be 8 toys to collect. Basically it's 6 figures & 2 vehicles. The figures include: Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, & The Joker. The other ones are the Batmobile Car & Black Manta's Robot Ship. Plus, here's some added cool news. Each toy will be imprinted with a special code number that you can use to log-in at the McDonald's website to unlock a "Virtual Batmobile"!! Last night I went to McDonalds & asked then about this new set of toys & they said it would still be another week or two until they release them...So, what do you think about them?! OK, The Bat-Blog has not been able to totally confirm it yet but there's a major rumor that the next set of McDonalds Happy Meal Toys in the US could possibly, maybe, be BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD!! We know that they recently made some "Brave and The Bold" toys for their restaurants in foreign locations ( Click HERE for the story on that ) a few months ago. We'll let ya know what we find out. Oh man, I'm so jealous! These toys look extremely cool & the restaurants here in the USA won't have them, ha! There are 3 action figures ( Batman, Aquaman, & The Joker ) and a cool Toy Vehicle. Anybody remember these BATMAN RETURNS Movie Cups from McDonalds? I do, I collected them all! I also remember being sort of upset that they were plastic because for a long time these Premium Promo Glasses from Fast Food Restaurants used to be high-quality glass. Then, I guess some moron sued them or something ( or maybe they became too expensive to produce ) so they all went to plastic. But, these BATMAN RETURNS Cups were still pretty neat & the graphics were really nice. The lids were actually a Mini-Frisbee that didn't fly very well, but looked cool. There were 6 to collect: Batman, Catwoman, The Penguin ( 2 ), Bruce Wayne, & The Batmobile. Now, I got the photos here so you can see the cups & that "Newspaper-looking thing" was the Paper Placemat used at McDonalds for the trays. I remember a HUGE Standee Store Display Sign that was in the store too but couldn't find a pic at the time of this post. But really the main thing are the cups & the video. Yes, the TV Commercial! The DC Hero Zone & McDonalds have teamed up to bring you these FREE amazing online cartoons titled "HOW TO BUILD THE PERFECT BAT TRAP" featuring the superheroes & villains from LEGO BATMAN: The VIDEO GAME. It took some crunching but I finally got a photo of what the LEGO BATMAN : THE VIDEO GAME McDonald's Happy Meal Toy Set is gonna look like. There will be 4 figures: Batman, Robin, Mr. Freeze, & The Joker. There will also be 4 vehicles but I can only see 2 of them in this photo: the Batmobile & Joker Helicopter. This is not an official photo from McDonalds so let's hope better pics surface later. These will hit the restaurants on September 12th.
Secret reports have been leaked that McDonalds next Happy Meal promotion, after the current "Star Wars, The Clone Wars" promo, will be LEGO BATMAN: THE VIDEO GAME. I've been trying to get some photos or more information but the only thing I have been able to find is that there will be about 8 Happy Meal Toys with a Lego Batman-theme. Plus, they are due for release on Sept 12th, 2008. The Official McDonalds website has this small picture shown up above. If any readers get news, especially pics, please let me know.
I guess that today is "Joker Day" here at the Bat-Blog! Personally, I have been so busy creating the brand-new Bat-Blog website that I have sort of been neglecting this one a little bit & I'm sort of behind in my e-mails. There's kind of a backlog right now, sorry. So, if you're a reader who has mailed us some goodies please look for them soon. Here's one sent in to us by a friend named Brian. It's a funny photoshop picture of the Joker ( Heath Ledger ) as Ronald McDonald, HA HA HA HA HA! I was taking a sip of coffee at the exact moment I opened this one & almost shot coffee through my nose, I laughed so hard, ha ha! Yeah, good times. I guess I need to explain about the "New Bat-Blog". I now have a HOST & I'm embedding a Wordpress Template into it. It's been a lot of hard work so far & it doesn't look like I have done anything yet. It's gonna take some time but in the future there will be a brand-new Bat-Blog. I can already tell that it's gonna be a much needed improvement! With the success of The Dark Knight movie my traffic has nearly doubled. Plus, near the end of this month is the two year anniversary of this blog & for the event I want to implement the new page. It's sort of exciting! I hope I can get it done in this time frame but it does look like it might take longer. Crunching code takes many many hours so we'll see. But, I'll keep everybody up to date & in the mean time you can always come here for new material.One last thing: Thanks Brian for sending this photo, it's awesome!!
