Kristin Cavallari is said to have returned her engagement ring to Jay Cutler after their split. The 24-year-old former Hills star, who this week put on a brave face as she posed for a bikini shoot in LA, was engaged to Cutler, 28, for three months before he called it off.
She is said to have been shocked at the split and upset at handing back the 5.2 carat diamond ring.
'She offered to give the engagement ring back to Jay, and he took it,' a source told Life & Style. Just months before the split, Cavallari had been gushing about the ring and said Cutler had done an 'amazing job' at choosing it.
At the time, she said: 'It's absolutely beautiful. It's an Asscher-cut diamond, which is my favourite.' She also couldn't stop raving about the sportsman.
'Jay is a good Midwestern boy; he's a gentleman,' the reality star said in April.
