Just released in stores right now are some extremely super cool BATMAN SHAKE 'N GO Toy Cars by Fisher-Price! Of course they're a part of the never-ending DC SUPER FRIENDS Toy Line. There's a Brand-New BATMOBILE for Batman, a JOKERMOBILE for Joker, and even a MR. FREEZE CAR too! Our Bat-Reporter Friend, Batmobilly, got some amazing shots the other night while he was shopping. I really like the look of these cars, but the packaging is so beautiful it could make you cry. No, I'm not crying, it's just that some ceiling fan blew some dust in my eye... really. This isn't earth-shattering news but there are some Hot Wheels Collectors out there who will find this important. OK, you know the New 2011 Hot Wheels BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE Car that is out there? Well, it's been seen with variant packaging where one has the BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM Logo on it. Now, the cars are exactly the same, it's just a variation on the package design. Mattel is sort of known for doing that kinda thing, ha! Personally I like this new one with the logo because it makes it more of a piece of Bat-Merchandise. ( Thanks Chris )
OK, I know that this is really not "Batman -Related News" but I'm a HUGE FAN of the Christopher Reeve SUPERMAN Movies from the 1970's, so, here we go! HOT TOYS has just released a teaser photo of one of their next major figures they're going to release. It's the SUPERMAN THE MOVIE Figure, a Classic Christopher Reeve version! The pic doesn't show his face, but knowing this Toy Company, it's gonna be awesome! Now, let's just hope they do every single character in the film, "KNEEL DOWN TO ZOD!"
A few friends have already told me that they have found the brand-new 2011 BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE Hot Wheels Car in stores right now! This bat-vehicle looks pretty awesome & in the 1st pic we get to see the Toy Packaging by Mattel. Then, the 2nd photo ( which is a BATMAN WALLPAPER BACKGROUND, click on it ) shows the actual toy itself... beautiful!! Of course this is the Batmobile from the now Super-Classic Video Game. Shown up above for a few Funko BATMAN TOYS that we have already announced here at the Bat-Blog as new products coming out. I just mention them because we have new pics of their display boxes ( packaging ) or we have pics that are not prototype photos. Then, we have brand-new pics of some merchandise we didn't even know about until now. That would be the Funko BATMAN Bobble-Head Air Freshener Toy & the BATMAN PEZ Dispenser-shaped Funko Wacky Wobblers ( Actually, all 3 new items are "Nodders" ). Oh man, this is great news because all of this stuff is very cool! Note: The PEZ Nodders are wayyy bigger than actual PEZ Dispensers & don't have necks that pop-back to give you candy.
Here's a picture of Mattel's latest Batman Toy, a "New" 2011 Batmobile. It's sort of like the car in the animated TV Cartoon called "The Batman" & will be a part of the Hot Wheels "Track Stars" series. So, on your future trips to local retail stores, be sure to keep an eye out.
Just in time for Christmas is this totally amazing DC SUPER FRIENDS TRIO Play Set! Our good friend "Batmobilly" spotted this treasure while shopping the other day at Target. It looks like Fisher Price has come out with a BATCAVE SUPER MEGA SET & it's totally AWESOME! Click on the picture up above for a larger version, it's beautiful! You get the Batcave, a Batmobile Car, the Joker-Bot, the Batwing Jet, 6 other accessories/mini-vehicles, and a TON of figures!! The characters include: The Joker, Robin, Batman, Superman, Penguin, Riddler, & Mr. Freeze. There are 11 figures in all with a few different variations of Batman, Robin, & the Prince of Crime, The Joker! WOW! This is CRAZY!! I'm gonna go out on a limb here & say that this is the coolest Batman Toy of 2010, yeah! Thanks for spotting this Batmobilly. Here's a brand-new Batman Toy to look out for on your next trip to Target. Here's the MATCHBOX CAR 5-Pack Gift Set with a BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TV cartoon theme. The cars & trucks all feature Gorilla Grodd, Green Arrow, Batman, & Joker graphics. Yes, my favorite one is the purple car with the Joker on it. But actually, they're all pretty neat. This set retails for about $8.99, not a bad price. ( Thanks to Batmobilly for sending the photo ).
OK, Here's some more fresh news from Mattel that was presented at this year's 2010 San Diego Comic Con & I'm sort of reporting on 2 different toy lines here, Hot Wheels & Imaginext Action Figures. The 1st photo shows a few new HOT WHEELS Batmobile cars to keep an eye out for ( But don't start camping out at Toys-R-Us tonight because these won't come out for a while - just stay tuned to the Bat-Blog because you know that when they come out we will be spazzing-out, ha!). It looks like they'll have some interesting new Batmobiles in 2 different series. One is the "Custom Motors" line & the other one is the "Color Shifters". The Custom Motors car is the Tumbler Batmobile from The Dark Knight movie & it looks like you'll be able to customize it like a model kit or something. I don't think I have ever seen this toy line before & it looks pretty interesting. Now the next one is the Color Shifters car & it looks like the Batmobile from the 1989 BATMAN movie, awesome! I've seen these before & they're kinda neat. They have special paint that changes color when you put them in hot water. This one has "flames" on the hood. Now the next major toy line covered here is the IMAGINEXT Action Figures, Vehicles, & Accessories. I know these are made for small children ( which is great ) but I gotta admit that I totally love these! The main 2 things to share here is the Batman figure with his Bat-Boat & Killer Kroc with his Swamp Boat. Plus, if you look at the picture with the Batboat, you'll also see the Riddler with his Riddler Car...awesome!

Just a quick post to announce that a new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Bat-Product will be hitting retail stores pretty soon ( they're already at Amazon ). It's a Batman: The Brave & The Bold MY-SIZE PUZZLE by Mattel! These puzzles are super-giant-sized, have really sharp graphics, & what some people do is put them on the wall for display in kid's rooms. They're very cool. I've bought a few older vintage ones for nephews & they really loved them! The graphics on this one is of the full-figure shot of the Batman & Red Tornado characters. ( Thanks John, about letting me know about this new item & where to buy it ).
A Bat-Blog Reader named "Mr. Anderson" sent us some nice photos of his Batman Batmobile Car Collection. OK, He has a few action figures & bat-merchandise that are NOT Batmobiles but the main focus is the famous car. While checking out the pictures I noticed he had a black Kenner Superpowers Batmobile ( the original one is bright blue ). I asked what that was about & he said it's a car he's customizing. Wow, that's a cool idea! Overall there's some really great items here & the start of an awesome collection. There are so many Vintage Batmobile Toys out there, & also brand-new toys coming out, that you should be able to stay busy for a very long time! It took some crunching but I finally got a photo of what the LEGO BATMAN : THE VIDEO GAME McDonald's Happy Meal Toy Set is gonna look like. There will be 4 figures: Batman, Robin, Mr. Freeze, & The Joker. There will also be 4 vehicles but I can only see 2 of them in this photo: the Batmobile & Joker Helicopter. This is not an official photo from McDonalds so let's hope better pics surface later. These will hit the restaurants on September 12th.

Based on the best-selling BATMAN series storyline: BATMAN and SON, art by Andy Kubert, written by Grant Morrison. The figures include Batman, Robin, Damian, The Joker, & Man-Bat. The figures each stand around 6 3/4" tall and feature multiple points of articulation and a base. On Sale October 17, 2007.
Just a quick note. Mattel's DC SUPER FRIENDS is a new action figure toy line that everyone is getting really excited about because they take the DC Comics universe and make it all super cute & adorable...goo goo goo. They have already released a few figures & vehicles. Well, later this year, Mattel will be releasing another new vehicle to go with Batman's Batmobile. It's called the BAT-PLANE!
Today, while running errands, I was listening to the radio when all of a sudden there was a commercial for Toys-R-Us stating that they were having a Major Clearance Sale. So, for the hell of it, I went up there to check it out. I found a cool Batman toy called The BATWAVE Device. It's was originally over-priced at $24.99 but on sale now at around $4.00!! Basically it's this communicator-looking thing is a device that you use while watching th new "The Batman" cartoon. You point the device at the TV & it picks up signals that give you video games to play. They also had a sale on Batman Birthday supplies like napkins, paper plates, cups, etc...so I got everything there for 80 cents a package.
Lego just announced that there will be 2 brand-new BATMAN Lego Play Sets. The 1st one will be called THE BATCOPTER: THE CHASE FOR SCARECROW #7786,Ages: 7-12, WITH 293 Pieces. It has 2 vehicles: a high-tech Batman Batcopter & a Scarecrow Bi-Plane. Includes Batman and Scarecrow mini-figures & accessories! The 2nd play set is called THE BAT-TANK: THE RIDDLER & BANE'S HIDEOUT # 7787, Ages: 8-12, WITH 645 Pieces. It has a large Batman Vehicle called the BAT-TANK.
