Thanks to our good friend Marcio we got some news that, right now in Brazil, they're starting a 2011 BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys Promotion at McDonalds ( In Brazil they call it "Mc Lanche Feliz" ). But the cool thing is that the toys are completely different than the ones we just had here in the USA. For Brazil, it looks like they have gone back to the regular-size toy & there are 4 of them to collect: The PENGUIN in his Penguin-Submarine, a PLASTIC MAN Figure, BATMAN in his BAT-COPTER ( or Bat-Gyro! ), and the JOKER'S Jokermobile Car! Right now, in the UK, this "BATMAN LIVE - World Arena Tour" TV Commercial is hitting the airwaves ( In England, they call it an "Advert "). The ad features some very cool special effects where "time is frozen & shown in 3D". Plus, we also get to see the characters costumes really well. Oh man, I can't wait till this show hits the US!
Down below is an awesome Vintage 1960's Toy TV Commercial for the 1966 BATMAN AND SUPERMAN SPARKLE PAINTS Play Set made by Kenner Toys! It also includes an advertisement for another Kenner's Product, the See-A-Show! Now, up above I've included a reference photo of a different Kenner SPARKLE PAINT SET. This one featured just Batman. These babies are extremely RARE to find now a days because, back in the day, kids totally destroyed them, ha! I wish I had one of these because I totally love the vintage graphics on the original boxes.

The other day we posted a photo of a brand-new piece of Bat-merchandise for Collectors to watch out for, a new different BATMAN Belly Washer ( a fruit-flavored beverage sold in a plastic bottle with a character head/figure on top ). Well, I got curious about this company & learned that they sell these things all over the world! In fact, here are 2 TV Commercials that aired in Europe and China... Yes, you read that right, China!! They both show an older Batman figure in them.
Before he became a TV-superstar as Batman, Adam West paid his rent by appearing in this TV commercial for Kellogg's Sugar Frosted Flakes Cereal. It's funny how young Adam West looks in this clip & it's also kinda cool to see the old vintage Cereal Box with the early version of Tony The Tiger... "Thhheeeyyy'rreee GREAT!"
Here's a cool vintage TV commercial that aired 11 years ago, in the year 2000. It's for the BATMAN BEYOND BATLINK ACTION FIGURES. It shows the Codebuster Batman Action Figure & Netrunner Batmobile made by Hasbro Toys. I've included a photo of the toys, check out the Batmobile, it's crazy!
Here is a cool vintage Corgi Action Toys TV commercial from 1981 from Australia. It features popular heroes like Batman, Buck Rodgers and James Bond. It shows the Batmobile on the verge of falling off a skyscraper ( How did that car get up there? ). But don't worry, it's saved by the Bat-Copter!
This is just great! I don't remember this ad specifically, but it's still nostalgic. Plus, you got a free pin! It's funny that VHS tape movies cost $20 back then & are now often $1 or less used.

OK, Here's a really great Vintage TV Commercial for some older Batman Toys that will either bring back fond memories, or will be a total nightmare, ha ha! I say that because these action figures were from the BATMAN AND ROBIN Movie by Joel Schumacher. I remember seeing this on TV a long time ago & I always liked the catch phrase, "BE THE MAN, BATMAN!".
Here's a total blast from the past! This is the official TV Commercial for the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Kenner Action Figures ( 1993 ). It features 2 characters & one vehicle. The figures shown are INFRARED BATMAN and The SCARECROW. Then we get to see the BAT-SIGNAL JET. Also, be sure to check out some photos of the actual toys. These bring back a lot of fond memories for me because I totally loved that cartoon. It is a great TV show & all the toys were awesome!
Shown here are a few vintage TV commercials showing an older Kenner action figure toy line called "Legends of Batman". I remember when these came out around 1994 & I was not a very big fan of them. Well, there were a couple of figures that were neat ( that I did buy ) like the Joker & Catwoman. But most of the figures were totally awful, ha! They showed the Caped Crusader in many different eras of history. We got stuff like: Guardian Batman, Cyborg Batman, Future Batman, Dark Rider Batman, Night Quest Batman, Silver Knight Batman, Samurai Batman, Flight Pack Batman, and the Sleek Batmobile. So, I guess I'm going to the trouble to post all of these videos here more for a historical reference than pure nostalgia...enjoy!
Fans of the 1966 BATMAN TV Show will totally recognize this guy, it's Burt Ward! Of course he was the actor who played Robin, The Boy Wonder. Well, he's now in the Dog Food business. I've mentioned his charity organization "Gentle Giants" before here at the Bat-Blog. It's sort of an animal rescue for huge dogs that he & his wife have been running for a long time. But now they have created "Gentle Giants Canine Cuisine". Here's the TV commercial.

The cool thing is that we get to see the 1966 Batmobile Car in all it's glory! Plus, the whole thing is pretty funny because they do it in a very corny deadpan kinda way...enjoy!
