Vintage 1966 BATMAN Kellogg's POP-TARTS Comic Book Premium
I have a friend named Jim who writes a cool blog called TUGLEY WOOD. It's all about pop culture, comics, animation, etc... It's main focus is Vintage Disney animation history but he also posts a lot of different things too. Anyway, he recently scanned an entire comic book story that's really neat to read. Actually, it's not a "comic book", but it's one of those booklets that was a free premium give-away inside Kellogg's Pop-Tarts in 1966 ( Look at the original box packaging up above, drool! ). There were 6 different comics to collect. The one at his site is the Penguin story titled, "The Penguin's Foul Play". The vintage artwork is really great to see & it's also a fun read. So, check out this LINK, where you can read the whole thing.
Ramon's BATMAN and JOKER TATTOO ART Inspired By JIM LEE Artwork
Check out this ultra-cool set of photos sent in by a Bat-Blog Reader named Ramon. He got some BATMAN AND JOKER Tattoo Art done on himself that was totally inspired by the comic book artwork of Jim Lee. It's done in a simple color palette of "just black", which is kinda cool because it looks like an original comic book art sketch. The Joker looks completely insane in this picture, just as he should be, ha! I want to send a special thanks to Ramon for sending us these wonderful photos, thanks man! Also, as usual, I want to extend an invitation to all readers of this site to send us pics of your fresh ink.

BATMAN BATH TIME - Dark Knight Washcloths
Some people call them "washcloths", others call them "bath rags", but either way these brand-new BATMAN MAGIC TOWELS are pretty cool! You can find them for just $1.00 at your friendly neighborhood DOLLAR TREE store. There are 3 to collect. The graphics are really bright & the rags are decent quality. The neat thing is they are super-compressed into a flat square shape & when you drop them in water "they grow", ha ha! Now, they're kinda hard to find but if you look near the area with bath supplies & towels you'll find them in their own store display basket. ( Thanks to THE BATFAN for sending this wonderful photo ).

BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Knight Flight R/C by Bandai
Our buddy BATMOBILLY spotted this extremely cool BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD R/C Toy the other night at Toys-R-Us. It's made by Bandai & is called "Knight Flight Batman". Basically, it looks like a large figure of Batman wearing a gyro-helicopter backpack. It has an infrared remote control & the figure has twin propellers so it can move up/down or sideways. Oh man, I would have totally freaked out as a little kid if they made this a long time ago, ha ha!
Batman's New Mission - Fighting Cavities!
There's a brand-new toothbrush in town & I guarantee it will make your morning routine a lot happier, the "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" Toothbrush by Reach! There are 2 different sets to collect & each set has 2 toothbrushes. One has the Red Tornado & Batman, the other features the Blue Beetle & Batman. Then, each set has a brush with Batman alone & I like that they're each a different version. Then at least, if you buy both sets then you're not buying a duplicate...smart marketing there. Our friend BATFAN found these the other night & I wanna thank him for sending the wonderful photo. If any other Bat-Blog Readers come across any cool new merchandise then please let us know. Now - FIGHT THOSE CAVITIES!

Oh yeah, they are NOT making the 1966 Batman Movie an XBox 360 video game so please don't ask me where you can buy it, ha ha! OK, I gotta admit that the "Klingon Batman" is pretty hilarious. Whew, I feel better already, thanks!

Weird Batman Backgrounds - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!
For this week's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" I thought I would post some Batman Wallpapers that are just totally weird! Yeah, I know, these are kind of strange but they still make an interesting background on your desktop. The 1st one is sort of an homage to the older BATMAN BEYOND TV cartoon. I did it because I'm very excited about the "Batman Beyond: The Complete Series" coming to DVD. The next one is a wonderful image of the JOKER ( Cesar Romero ) from the 1966 Batman TV Show that I found while surfing the net. So, whattya think of these? Good? Bad? Well, the Bat-Blog has 100's more you can see if you did through the Bat-Archives that's located on the left side of this blog, about 1/2 way down.

Funny Humor Video - Batman Orders Taco Bell
OK, even Batman gets hungry every now & then so here's some ultra-rare film footage showing our favorite Dark Knight ordering some food at Taco Bell, ha ha!
RARE Vintage 1966 BATMAN TOYS and Merchandise!
It's time once again at the Bat-Blog to post a few photos of some extremely RARE Batman Toys & Merchandise for Bat-Collectors to totally drool over! So, start drooling now. The 1st item is the 1966 BATMAN FLYING COPTER by Remco. It's shown here in the original box & I completely love the retro-style graphics. Next up, is the 1966 BATMAN FLIP-FLASHLIGHT. Now, talk about amazing graphics....this thing is beautiful!! It's amazing that it is still on the original blister card & never opened. As a little kid I would have ripped this puppy open at the store! You know, I have been an Antique & Collectibles Dealer for over 20 years, mostly toys. One day, along time ago, I bought an extremely rare toy, in the original box still shrink-wrapped, from a lady at a garage sale. I thought it was totally crazy that it had never been opened. I asked her about it & she said that she had bought the toy for her son for his birthday way back in the 1960's. She said that she had hid it from him, in the very back of her closet, & when it came time for her to give it to him she had totally forgot where she put it, ha ha! She said she panicked & ran over to Sears to buy duplicates of the toy she had previously bought! Then, about 35 years later ( around the time of this garage sale ) she found it. So, this sort of explains how items like this end up existing after all these years. Speaking of MIP ( Mint in Package ) items, our last item in the list is super rare to find unopened! This is the 1966 BATMAN BELT BUCKLE made by the Morris Belt Company. I've seen this buckle "loose" many times but I've only seen it like this maybe once or twice. Do you have any super-rare Batman Toys in YOUR collection that YOU would like to share? If so, then please send us some pictures, thanks.

Wacky Cosplay Fun Time at 2010 Comic Con International
Check out these extremely cool pics from our friends Josh & Jenn. This year they went to the Comic Con International in San Diego & they totally dressed-up for the occasion! Josh was Two-Face, Jenn was Poison Ivy, & their friends ( sorry, I don't know their names ) were Catwoman, Black Canary, & Batgirl ( or is she suppose to be Batwoman? ). Judging by the photos, it looks like they all had a total blast! These pics sort of crack me up because I know these people in real-life & it's a big surprise that they would go to this event, ha! But regardless, they all look really great in all their costumes. ( Thanks to Josh for sending the evidence ).

THE RIDDLER RIDE - Batman Custom Drag Boat
I found this extremely freakin' cool BATMAN - RIDDLER Custom Drag Boat over at the Drag Boat City website! They have a classifieds area where a guy posted these pics of this boat he has for sale & the asking price is only $15,000.000. It's located in New York. As you can see from the photos it has a RIDDLER THEME & is totally customized. The paint job is pretty amazing & it even has custom upholstery too. With Christmas right around the corner this would make a great gift idea ( hint, hint ). For more info just click HERE!
Halloween Masks of Joker & The Penguin From Batman: The Animated Series
Just a quick post - Last night, on the crazy Internet, I found these cool Halloween masks of the Joker & Penguin. They're done in the cartoon style of Batman: The Animated Series. I think they're only sold as child-size but I'm still gonna have to buy a set of these later, they're pretty cool. Here's a LINK if you want to check them out.

Billy's BATMAN TATTOO ART Photo
Oh yeah, you know we love some cool tattoo art here at the Bat-Blog & here's a really great example. This photo was sent in by a reader named Billy who just recently got this full-length BATMAN Tattoo done. Now the thing that's pretty interesting about the whole deal is he said he wants to get one of ROBIN on his other arm & he's asking Bat-Blog Readers for ideas. So, if you know of a "Robin image" that would compliment this one then please let us know. One last thing, thanks Billy for sending the pic, your tattoo looks awesome!
1989 Batman Movie BATMOBILE CAR Spotted at Six Flags in Mexico!
Check out these wonderful photos sent in by our friend Bruno! They were shot at the Six Flags Theme Park in Mexico City. The 1st pic shows Bruno, & a very cute girl, posing next to a life-size Batman Statue they saw in the gift shop. That's pretty awesome! Then the next pic was taken during the special "Batman Show" they have there. It looks like Six Flags went crazy building a massive stage with buildings & everything, that's cool! ( Please remember to click on it for a larger version ). Then the very last photo shows the 1989 Batmobile that they have on public display. Now, Bat-Blog Fans, please keep in mind that this picture of the movie car is also a "Batman Wallpaper Background" you can use to brighten your desktop! Also, I wanna say, "Thanks Bruno for sending the great pics!".

Sean Hartter's Retro-Style SUPERHERO MOVIE Posters
OK, I'm a total loser & don't get to brag much, but I gotta say that I'm really proud of our good buddy Sean Hartter! He's a very talented commercial artist & he recently got some amazing hype on his artwork over at the WEEKLY-CRISIS website. They did a fun story about his fake Retro-Style "Superhero Movie" Posters & Lobby Cards. Basically, he creates new images that look like old vintage advertising for movies that were never made ( but you WISH they had made, ha! ). As an example I'm showing one for THE JOKER with Tim Curry as the lead character. But at the Weekly-Crisis website you can see some of your favorite Superheroes like: Superman, Plastic Man, Iron Fist, Wolverine, & many more. Just click HERE!

BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD - Panini Sticker Album and Stickers
It looks like the Panini Company in Europe are doing "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" Stickers, cool! For Americans not familiar with Panini Stickers, they are sort of like the trading card thing we have here except instead of card stock they're stickers. Another difference is they also have an album book you can buy to collect them in. Plus, they make a TON of product. For example, this Batman B&B Set will have 192 stickers! The picture we have here shows the store display box & sticker packages, plus the album book.
