Paper Toys are always fun, but when they're Batman-related they're even better! Here's a new one you can make today. It was created by BoxZet. Basically, it's a Batman Figure & Batmobile Car. The cool thing is that they also make a "Product Display Box" for it, that's kinda funny. For instructions and download click HERE!

We have featured many different Paper-Craft Toys at this site before & they're always very popular. Here are some new ones we recently came across that are pretty cool. An Artist named Joshua Wolf has created a huge amount of DC Superheroes Toys you can make. Basically you just print them on card stock, cut them out, & fold/glue them into shape ( Warning: This activity is very addictive ). I'm just showing a few examples here: Batman, Alfred Pennyworth, and the Red Hood / Jason Todd. But there are many more, like Robin, Batwoman, Batgirl, The Huntress, Azrael, Nightwing, Ace The Bat-Hound, & many more! Just click HERE!
Oh yeah! Here's a wonderful craft project to keep you guys busy! Over at the PAPER INSIDE website they have some templates you can download & print so you can make your own paper models of these 1960's-inspired BATMAN AND ROBIN figures!! While there you might also notice they have some other DC Comics Comic Book characters, like: Superman, Captain Marvel, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow and Black Canary! Here's the LINK to check them out! Also, if you're a big fan of these cool toys & you want to see all the "Paper Toy" posts we have done here recently at the Bat-Blog then click HERE!

OK, You know I love me some paper-craft toys! This is a niche within the custom toy field that's just a lot of fun & anybody with a PC printer can join in on the action. Basically you download a PDF or JPG file of some artwork, print it out, then cut / paste...TAA DAA! You now have a fun toy to display! Here's a great example, Check out this HEATH LEDGER JOKER By Ewout Van Lambalgen. He's an awesome Illustrator & Web Designer in the Netherlands. He was inspired by Heath Ledger's amazing performance of THE JOKER in THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie & made this free Paper Toy for everyone to download ( click on the image for a larger version ). If you would like to see more of his awesome artwork then just click HERE!

Over at the Professor Plastik website they have a ton of very cool BATMAN PAPER CRAFT MODEL KIT ACTION FIGURES you can download & create...for FREE! Shown here are The Dynamic Duo, Batman & Robin! They also have a lot of wonderful Super-Villains too! As an example I am only showing The Joker & Riddler, but they also have: The Scarecrow, Dr. Hugo Strange, Two-Face, & Clayface. Now, keep in mind that these are the "Golden Age" versions like the characters existed in the 1940's. Personally, I think they are total works of ART! For more information, & the location where you download the PDF files, be sure to click HERE!

Shown here is a totally insane Paper Craft Toy designed by J.P. Cote of Paper Empire Toys. It's the JOKER'S "I SCREAM" ICE CREAM TRUCK Model Kit in 1:24th Scale!! For people unfamiliar with this type of thing, basically what you do is: You download a few PDF files of this model onto your computer, you print them out with your PC's Printer on "card stock" paper, & then you cut them out. After that: you bend, fold, & paste them into this vehicle. Think of it as a Car Model Kit made out of paper! But just check out the photos here, this thing is CRAZY, ha ha! It comes with Rocket Launcher Silos, Joker Head Turret on the Top, a Rocket Exhaust on the Back, & even a Specially-Sized JOKER Action Figure! For more information & to download this wacky version of the Jokermobile, just click HERE!
Just a quick post to remind everybody to go to your friendly neighborhood Target Store because they have Batman Wrapping Paper! Yes! This was out last year & very hard-to-find. This photo was sent in by our friend Jennifer & thanks to her we get to see what the graphic design of the Batman Gift Wrap looks like...it's beautiful!

Over at the TOY-A-DAY website they have a cool new paper craft art project you can download for free & make. It's HARLEY QUINN from the Batman Animated Series! Of course this is the Joker's girlfriend & since they also have one of these of the Prince of Crime himself you can now make them a couple! For download information be sure to visit their website by clicking HERE!

One thing about the Internet is I'm totally loving the "Urban Paper Craft Toy" movement! Basically, a ton of different Graphic Artists are creating some fun toys that you can print with your computer & then put together to have figures or fun stuff. It's really neat, very creative, & highly addictive. Here are 2 figures of BATMAN & JOKER from the Dark Knight movie. Of course this is the "Heath Ledger" version of the Joker & he's just great! The Batman figure is fun too. You can download these, & many other projects, from a website called PAPER INSIDE. It's a fun place & you can get there by clicking HERE! Oh yeah, this link is to the Batman Figure ( and a few other DC Comics characters ) & to get the "Heath Ledger Joker" Paper Toy just look for the small text link at the bottom of that story...have fun!

Well, it looks like our friend Lauren has been pretty busy lately, or at least very creative. YES! She made this totally awesome BATMAN Paper Mache Figure!! I really really like this thing & it even sort of cracks me up too. The attention to detail is pretty good. I mean, check out that cool Bat-Belt! He also has a cool silver Batarang!! I love when Bat-Fans get creative ...so if you guys have any Batman-Related Drawings, Paintings, Custom Toys, etc..then please send them in to us. But before I forget, I wanna thank Lauren for sending in this cool pic, plus let her know she did a GREAT JOB on this...it's an ART MASTERPIECE!!
Here's an awesome Paper Craft Toy Figure of Adam West as Batman from the famous 1966 TV Series. The instructions are pretty easy. 1. Print it on card stock, 2. Cut it out, 3. fold & glue. It's an easy as pie. But I gotta warn you that once you start making these paper toys you're gonna go crazy & want to make more, more, more! ((( You have been warned ))).

I really love the whole "Paper Craft Toy" movement & I have even made a few to display. But I gotta warn ya, they are completely & totally addictive, ha ha! Here's a new one that is a BATMAN Action Figure ( Comic Book Verison ) by an artist named "Trogdorian Grey". On his website you can find other figures like Wonder Woman, Godzilla, Superman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, Hellboy, Wolverine, Iron Man, Green Lantern, Frankenstein, Darkseid, Robocop, Spiderman, The Ghostbusters, & many many more!
A friend sent me this link to a very cool art project that everybody can do ( Thanks Brian, you ROCK, Sir ). Basically you print the PDF file, cut it out, & you have a Paper Batman Mask! I suggest using some kind of card stock. I can't wait to make mine, ha ha! It sort of reminds me of the cowl worn by Adam West in the 1960's TV Show...AWESOME! Come to think of it these would be very cool to make for a little kid's birthday party. The mask was created by a very talented artist named Katie. Here's a link to her page:
We reported awhile back about a website where you can get some awesome "Vintage-Style" BATMAN & ROBIN Paper Craft Toys you can download & make. Well, now they have made a JOKER one to go with them. Basically it's a free PDF file you can send to your PC's printer ( or e-mail to Kinko's Copies ) & then cut-out to assemble. I think the artist did an amazing job capturing all the small details. The toys look pretty cool & while you're there be sure to check out the many different designs they have. But I gotta warn ya, these Paper Craft Projects are totally addictive!
Over at the Cubeecraft website they just released a few more Brand-New Batman-related Paper Craft Toys you can make for fun! The 3 new ones include The Joker ( Heath Ledger / The Dark Knight movie version ), Two-Face ( More of a comic book style ), and Robin III ( modern comic book ). All you have to do is download the PDF file & print on your PC's printer ( use card stock for better results ). While there keep an eye out for 2 different Batman Figures. One is the 1960's TV Show version ( Adam West ) & the other one is Batman from the Batman Beyond cartoon ( Both of these were featured in a separate Bat-Blog post awhile back ). If any readers know about any more of these types of toys to make then please let us know!
A new trend in the arts and crafts movement that is extremely fun & clever is the invention of "Paper Craft Toys". These are usually PDF files you can download on your computer, print out, then cut & shape into "action figures or dolls". Shown here is a new "BATMAN PAPER TOY" you can make. I like how this one has an extreme 3D quality ( usually they are very "cube shaped" ) & the removable cowl is kinda neat too. Thank you Brian for sending this info, I appreciate that a lot. You can find this Paper Toy to download at the Paperrollies website, here's a link:
