Here's a wonderful photo of an extremely RARE piece of Vintage Batman merchandise. It's a 1966 BATMAN Shirt... for a Little Girl. This item was bought off eBay awhile back from our friend Doug, who wrote, "I recently purchased this 1966 Batman Girl's Summer Shirt on eBay for a song. It is size 3X small cotton shirt with the Joker, Penquin, Batmobile, Batman, and Robin. It also has Gotham City in the background. Please note the Batman Logo is highlighted in pink and other features as well. This is the first one I have ever seen."
Yes, I have to agree that this is the very first time I have seen this variation. Now, I've seen this same graphic used on Baby bibs, Pillows, T-Shirts, etc...but never on a little girl's outfit & never in the strange hot pink variation, very cool! Thanks to Doug for sharing. So, do YOU have a RARE Batman Collectible you would like to share? I'm talking about a "Museum Piece" you have never seen before. if so, then please shoot the Bat-Blog a photo & send it to us, thanks.
Over at the Official Website for the BATMAN LIVE: World Arena Tour they have finally opened their online store! Inside you can find a cool Souvenir T-Shirt & Ceramic Coffee Mug. The shirts are sold in both Adult & Kids sizes. The prices range from around $25 to $32, ouch! The Mug is about $11.34. Remember, their prices on the site are in British Pounds, so if you're an American then use the Currency Converter to see Dollars. CLICK HERE!
Here's a wonderful vintage photo that I totally stole from another friend's website, ha ha! This is a good friend of mine named Rob Kelly who writes a popular blog named THE AQUAMAN SHRINE. He also has a few other blogs like HEY KIDS! COMICS!, & TREASURY COMICS. He also has a few more. I think he's got OCD, maybe? ( Kidding, Rob! ) But this wonderful photo is him in the mid-1970's. He thinks it might be from 1976 or 1977. The cool thing about it...the BATMAN BAT-SYMBOL LOGO on his T-Shirt!! Thanks Rob for allowing me to steal this, it's very cool. I even like that "Can Collection" you got going on there, ha ha!
