Check out these 2 wonderful photos all the way from England. Our friend, Michael, who lives in Leeds, went to the BATMAN LIVE event in the UK ( Super-Jealous! ) & took these pics. The 1st one is an advertising standee of Batman that he saw in the foyer of the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle. I begged him to steal for me but he's a good citizen & would not do it, Ha Ha!
Then, Michael got this great shot of the Official "BATMAN LIVE" Souvenir Merchandise they have on sale. It looks like there are many different T-Shirts to choose from, a few Ceramic Coffee Mugs, a Program Booklet, and even some Batman Cowl Masks! ( Be sure to click on the photo for a larger version ). Great, more cool Bat-Stuff I can't afford, ha! But really, I can't wait till this show hits the USA next year. Thanks Michael for sharing your photos, you ROCK, Sir!

"Batman's Biggest Secret is NOT Bruce Wayne...", reads the front of this brand-new Promo T-Shirt. The back says, "Put Your Finger on it, July 2012, NOBLEMANIA". OK, This post is sort of mysterious but here's the deal. There's a Book Author named Marc Tyler Nobleman who is in the very very early stages of promoting his next book ( The actual release date is almost a year from now, July 1st, 2012 ). You might know him as the guy who wrote "Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman". Well, his next major book will be all about the uncredited Batman Co-Creator, Bill Finger. Serious Batman Fans know who this guy is because his story of how he never got any credit for helping create the greatest comic book superhero in history is legendary. But the unusual thing is that he was so "hidden" that even serious Fans don't know much about him. Well, hopefully that's gonna change after the book comes out. Basically it's going to be a very serious Biography about Mr. Finger & his contributions to the Comic Book genre, especially the Dark Knight character. I've been following the creation of this book for awhile now & the attention to details, & the interviews with other Artists/Writers, is extremely meticulous. I'm predicting it's gonna be a really great book.
OK, to get back to the T-Shirt. The shirt you see up above was created as a promotional Tool for the next 2011 Comic Con. Marc is set-up to do a lecture & panel discussion at that event for the "Bill Finger" Book. We're hoping a few people buy the shirt & wear it to the event. It's designed in such a way that it's sort of "vague", & then if somebody asks what the shirt is about then you can get into a dialogue about the "Finger Book". So, if you wanna support this great project then please be sure to visit SKREENED where you can buy this shirt.
Now, please keep in mind that the shirt is sold in TWO ways: 1. You can get a shirt that is screened with both designs on the front & back, Or 2. You can get a shirt that has JUST the "front" design with nothing on the back. Either way it's a great item! Seriously, all your friends will be super-jealous, JEALOUS!
Over at the Official Website for the BATMAN LIVE: World Arena Tour they have finally opened their online store! Inside you can find a cool Souvenir T-Shirt & Ceramic Coffee Mug. The shirts are sold in both Adult & Kids sizes. The prices range from around $25 to $32, ouch! The Mug is about $11.34. Remember, their prices on the site are in British Pounds, so if you're an American then use the Currency Converter to see Dollars. CLICK HERE!
As Serious BATMAN Fans most of us totally love the 1966 BATMAN TV Show & here are just a few brand-new products related to that series. You see, Burt Ward, the Actor who played ROBIN THE BOY WONDER, has an official website where he has a few exclusive pieces of merchandise. I went there the other day & noticed a few things I have not seen there before. Shown here is a Batman and Robin T-Shirt, Writing Pen, & Key Chains with "1966 Batman" graphics ( I really love the Bat-Pen, ha! ). You can also see a few other new items there, just click HERE!
Hubba Hubba! A friend of ours on Facebook told us about a new website that I knew I had to check out. You know, for Batman History "research". It's a Tumbler page titled "HOT CHICKS IN BATMAN T-SHIRTS". It's loaded with nothing but pretty girls wearing Batman T-Shirts, heck yeah! Here's a link to check it out, just click HERE! Oh, by the way, I'm bringing back the phrase, "Hubba Hubba!"...Ha Ha!
Hey, Check it out! It's our good buddy Desmond & he's the coolest kid in the whole wide world! Why? Because ...HE IS BATMAN!! See, here's the photographic proof, ha ha! Actually, Desmond's parents just bought him this extremely awesome "Batman Costume" T-Shirt at Target & they wanted to share this information with other Bat-Blog Fans, especially parents with small children. So, thanks Desmond...your bat-shirt is GREAT!! Now that I think about it, this would be sort of cool for Halloween. Thanks for sending us the cool pic.
Here at the BAT-BLOG I was recently contacted by one of the companies I help promote Batman merchandise for. They asked me if I would do a product review on one of the items they sell, that they would send me one. So, of course, my answer was, "Heck yeah!" ( ha ha ) But I told them that the danger would be that I would be totally honest about it. They were fine with that & told me that I could pick out anything from their website. Wow! Now that was actually pretty fun! The company I'm talking about is SUPERHERO STUFF. After scanning their pages I found this very cool Batman Bobble Head Nodder made by NECA. Overall it's a really excellent product. The quality is wonderful & the paint job is well done. I love this piece & I'm proud to display it in my collection. OK, now hold on, my main reason for this posting is to talk about this company. I know that some people might be cynical about a review when I'm sort of "getting paid". But not really, I mean, just go through the Bat-Blog Archives ( located at the left side of this page, near the middle ) & you'll see that I'm a very serious Batman Fan & Collector. I've been doing the BAT-BLOG for over 4 years now & I think I'm pretty dedicated. Plus, I'm NOT going to sell my integrity for a $20 item, ha ha! Now one of the early reasons I chose SUPERHERO STUFF to sell things is because I have bought many items from them in the past & they have always had really great service & their prices are very decent. They get your items to you fast & pack them very carefully. Plus, they're one of the few companies that are sort of "progressive". What I mean by that is that they're always adding fresh new product & keeping the website up to date. So, in closing: this BATMAN NODDER is extremely cool, I really like it. I also like SUPERHERO STUFF for providing my readers with excellent service. So, if you're in the market for some Superhero Merchandise ( T-Shirts, Toys, Belt Buckles, Graphic Novels, Action Figures, etc... ) then please hit them up. If you are not familiar with this company then just click the banner down below.
Here's a wonderful family portrait sent in by our friend Stuart. It shows him & his family all dressed-up in Batman T-Shirts. Now how cool is that?! They are ALL Super Batman Fans!! Here are his 2 beautiful children, Max and Dena, and their Grandpa Eddie ( his dad ). I totally love this picture, thanks for sending it Stu. If any other Bat-Blog Fans want to share pics like this then please do. Sharing the love of the Batman character is what this blog is all about!

Here are 2 totally cool photos showing our friend John way back in the day. In the 1st one, he is wearing his awesome Robin, The Boy Wonder T-Shirt. In the next picture he's shown wearing one with a Batman-Logo! OK, now that's loyalty right there... a true Bat-Fan! Remember, we always love getting old photos like this so if you have one then please send it in. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this page. Oh yeah, one last thing, our gratitude goes to John for sharing these great pics...Thanks John!
PLEASE VOTE TODAY! Our friend, Graphic Artist Gerry Cleary, has entered his "Bat Oceanic Repellent" graphic into a Threadless T-Shirt Design Contest & needs your vote today! It only has a few days left to go & it's getting close. So, please click the link provided here & vote for him! CLICK HERE!
The other night I was kinda bored & decided to check out what kind of new Batman Merchandise there was out there. My main focus was some kind of cool T-Shirt or other clothing. One website that I totally love to buy from is called SUPERHERO STUFF. They have great service & an awesome variety. While there I saw they had a bunch of brand-new T-Shirts & here's the one I think I'm going to buy. It has a graphic on the front of a Silver-Age Comic Book Cover that features artwork by Carmine Infantino. Actually, it's Detective Comics # 380. I don't know, I think it's pretty cool. What do you think? Oh, if you're wondering where their website is I placed a link down below, check it out sometime.

HA HA HA HA HA! The 1st photo is one I randomly found on the Internet. It's of a mother who dressed-up like the Joker to take her small son out for his birthday. It looks like they are using public transportation. He's wearing a kid's costume of our favorite Caped Crusader, BATMAN! I thought it was kinda sweet that a Mother would do that. Speaking of buses. The next image is a funny new Humor T-Shirt featuring Batman, in Gotham City, using a bus to get around. Maybe his Batmobile was in the garage? ( Yes, we'll be here all week folks, har har! ) The next pic is the best one, so that's why I saved it for last! Remember our "Draw Batman's Face" Art Challenge? Well, this one was sent in recently by our friend Aaron. He made Pokemon into the Dark Knight and it's awesome!! Seriously, I cracked-up when I first saw it, totally unexpected! ( Thanks Aaron, great drawing & the coloring is nice too ). Now, if you guys come across some funny Batman-related Humor then please let us know, thanks!

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of DC Comics Bloomingdale's Department Store is selling some cool Batman & Joker themed T-Shirts. The Vintage Style "Japanese Batman" ( in the 1st photo ) is my personal favorite & I really like the one that looks like a cover to an old Golden Age "Detective Comics" Comic Book. The prices range from $39.00 to around $60, OUCH!
Shown here is our favorite little buddy Desmond ( The Littlest Batfan ) sporting a brand-new Batman T-Shirt his parents found at Target! I really love this T-Shirt & even though I don't have a kid, I might buy one just because it's so cool! This one has graphics from the very 1st Issue of the Batman Comic Book. Yes, Batman #1! It's an extremely classic image, very iconic, & I like how they did it. The blue background looks really great with the other colors, a nice choice ( the original 1939 comic book had a yellow background ). Plus, isn't Desmond the sweetest little boy you have ever seen? I think so & I wanna thank him for making his parents send this cool pic!
