Check out this amazing Collection of BATMAN TOYS!! Here are just a few photos of our good friend Seth's BAT-CAVE Room! Now, because of space limitations I can only post a few pics but please be sure to check them all out. I know that if you do you will be drooling for days, ha! I mean, there's some really great stuff here: Action Figures, Hot Wheels, PEZ, Masks, Toys, Blankets, Statues, Vinyl Figures, Nodders, Corgi Die-Cast Cars, Toothbrush Holders, Dolls, Puzzles, Puppets, & even Batman Band-Aids! WOW! The list could go on & on forever!
I love how everything is displayed & it's so cool that they're able to use an entire room for the collection. My only worry is that they will probably have to buy a bigger house someday, ha! But all kidding aside I do wanna thank Seth for sharing his BATMAN Toy Collection with all of us. It's great to see a bunch of cool Bat-items all together and this BAT-CAVE room is totally AWESOME! Now, there were way too many pics to share in one post & I will be posting more in the near future, so everybody please keep an eye out for those.

Just a quick post to share the news that the annual LICENSING International Expo starts today & will run from June 14th to 16th in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The BIG news of course is that Warner Bros will be set-up there & hopefully they will be announcing some of the BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Merchandise! Well, at least we hope they do, ha ha! Please stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG.COM for future information. Also, if anybody goes to this event please PLEASE get us some photos!!
DC Direct just announced a brand-new BATMAN Statue that will be coming out later this year. It's a Maquette Figure based on the BATMAN: YEAR ONE character from the DC Universe Animated Original Movie DVD. Oh man, it's beautiful! I like the retro-style. It was sculpted by DEREK MILLER. This hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain Maquette-Statue of BATMAN will be released on September 27th, 2011. It will measure about 9.8" high x 7.75" wide x 5" deep. Also, it's a Limited Edition. The Retail price will be around $ 125.00. Remember, stay tuned to the Bat-Blog for all your Batman Collectibles News.
One of the things I love about collecting Batman stuff is that over the last 40+ years they have made a TON of merchandise that you can hunt down. So, you can never "have it all" or, in other words, you can collect it forever! It's sort of the main inspiration for me creating the Bat-Blog. Then, speaking of this site one thing I really love is connecting with other Bat-Collectors. I always like seeing other people's stuff, what they have & how it's displayed.
Shown here are a few photos of "Ryan's Batcave". as you can see he has some extremely awesome Batman Toys, Action Figures, Collector Plates, Statues, Framed Art Prints, Posters, etc... even a 1989 BATMAN MOVIE Video Game Vending Machine ( my favorite piece! ). Well, I really like the "Animated Series" Collector Plates too. Ryan seems to have focused a lot on the items from the WB Store. We used to have one here where I live & I really miss it. They had a lot of high-quality items. Well, anyway, please check out all the cool pics and I wanna thank Ryan for sharing his personal Bat-Collection, it's very very cool!
I recently received some very nice photos from a fellow Batman Collector named Brad ( Be sure to click on them for larger, more detailed, pics ). He has a really great Batman Statue Collection. Now, there were a ton of photos so I'm just showing a few right now, and later I will post the rest. But I'm putting them in categories, so they make sense, so don't worry. These pics focus mainly on the Batman: Black and White statues. Then, there's a few other busts & random statues... all great stuff! I think it's really neat to see a lot of the B&W figures all together. They always make an interesting display. My next post will focus on his Joker Collection so stay tuned for that. In the mean time, here's some great stuff to drool over, ha! ( Thanks to Brad for sharing, YOU ROCK, Sir! )

It was sculpted by Karen Palinko.This rendition of Gotham City’s most purrrfect Cat Burglar is the latest addition to DC Direct’s exclusive 1:4 scale museum quality statue series. Catwoman’s costume is tailored and detailed, while various mixed media elements give this statue texture and visual interest.The CATWOMAN 1:4 SCALE MUSEUM QUALITY STATUE includes hand-painted resin parts, measures approximately 19” high x 10” wide x 7” deep, and will hit the stores around December 21st, 2011 with a retail price of about $325.00.
Here at the Bat-Blog we always love when Bat-Fans send us fun pics to share. Like these, from our friend Ruben, which show his rising Batman Toy Collection. There's some really cool stuff here & I like how it's displayed too. Ruben's main focus seems to be Action Figures or other figural-type items but we can also see some Hot Wheels Cars & other items too. Now, I know a lot of people are gonna ask, "Hey, What's that HUGE Batman Figure in the corner of that 1st pic?" Well, don't go searching in retail stores just yet, ha! That's a Life-Size BATMAN Statue that Ruben made awhile back. In fact, a few months ago we featured it here at the Bat-Blog, for more pics click HERE!
