Breaking News: Batman's BATMOBILE CAR Spotted on Highway 95 North!

OK, These photos are pretty funny and, yes, it might be a situation where "you had to be there", but I think it's totally hilarious! These 2 pics were sent in by our friend Dave who said he was just traveling down the street when all of a sudden he & his Wife saw Batman's Car going down the street!! He explains it a lot better than me so here's what he wrote:
"My wife & I were heading back from the Chiller Theater Convention in New Jersey on Halloween Night and we spotted a Batmobile driving on 95 North through Connecticut! My wife Nancy tried taking a pic through my driver's window, then we caught a better pic on the passenger's side, making me MISS the exit for 95 North to Rhode Island! We were able to get back on the highway and make it home, but it was worth the pic. This gentleman driving the Batmobile looks like he modified his black Corvette with reflective tape, the Batman shield, and this gentleman actually painted and detailed the foam wings! I hope you enjoy the pics!"
Enjoy the pics? Oh man, these pics are GREAT! I also think the story is pretty funny too like how you missed your exit just to get a photo...Ha Ha! Thanks so much for sharing your story & almost risking your life. It WAS worth it!!

Strange, but Cool, Batman Memorabilia Spotted in Romania!!

I have a friend on MySpace named Gary & one of the neat things about him is that he lives in Romania. I mean, come on! How cool is that?! He is also a big Batman Fan & he sent us these fun photos to share. These are some giant-sized Batman-Themed Flower Pots he recently bought. They each have very cool graphics of Batman, Robin, The Joker, Catwoman, Riddler, & even The Penguin! He said he bought them at a flea market so I'm not quite sure if they're production-made, or home-made, but either way they're really really awesome! Thanks Gary, Please stay in touch! Oh yeah, since I mentioned MySpace I wanna add that if any Bat-Blog Readers are a member there then please add us. Here's a link button:

BATMAN FAN Creates Bat-Knuckles Weapon at School

I got an e-mail the other day from a female reader who said, "OK, so I go to a Vo-Tech School and I finished all my work early so I decided to use this time to work on my own personal piece. I designed and created it myself, out of metal using a band saw, drill, mill, and sanding belt...enjoy!"

WOW! Bat-Knuckles! Ummm, I don't think Batman would actually use these because they look pretty deadly, if ya ask me, ha ha! But the overall design is awesome!

THE BATMAN BATHROOM Wacky Home Improvement

I got a lovely e-mail the other day from a friend over at Facebook. Her name is Billie & she said she decorated her bathroom in a Batman-Theme. She asked if I would like to see it & I'm like, "Heck Yeah!" Well, the Bat-Room is even better than I thought it would be! A friend of hers gave her some old Vintage Wallpaper that has a 1970's DC Comics Superhero motif. She only had enough to do one wall but it still looks great! She also custom-built ( or her friend did ) these 2 Batman Towel Racks...how AWESOME are those?! There's even a few Batman things laying around like Bat-Soap, Bat-Shampoo, Bat-Rug, that kinda thing. Plus, another of her creative friends painted the door with a skyline of Gotham City & the urgent Bat-Signal...WOW! Thank you Billie for sending us these wonderful photos. This is the coolest bathroom I have ever seen, seriously! As a side note I wanna let my readers know that the 4th photo of the "Superhero Wallpaper" is actually a "Desktop Wallpaper" you can use as a background. So, click on that to open it, then save as wallpaper, & Bam! You can have some of her wallpaper on your computer!

If the picture up above seems kind of small just click on it for a larger version, it's sweet!

OK, a Bat-Blog Reader sent me this photo the other day & it totally cracks me up! This is a "Homemade Bat-Pod" Motorcycle. It's just like the one used by Batman in The Dark Knight movie! HUMOR PHOTO: Homemade Batmobile Replica Car!!

A new friend to the Bat-Blog, named Bob, sent us this awesome photo yesterday with the following e-mail message, "I like your BatBlog site. Lots of goodies. I'm a long time Batman fan ( born in 1962 ), so I was a perfect age when the TV show was originally on. I'm also a Rambler American Motors car buff. About 7 years ago or so an AMC Javelin ( a 1973 or 1974 I think ) done up like the Batmobile showed up on eBay. I don't know anything about it, other than a buddy sent me the picture." HA HA, Thanks Bob. I seriously LOVE this Homemade Batmobile!! It's hilarious! Plus, he actually did a pretty good job on it. The huge tail-fins kinda crack me up. This would be awesome to drive on the weekends. I bet my nephews would flip-out if I showed up at their house in this, ha ha! Thanks again for sending the pic, I appreciate that. If any other Bat-Blog Readers have cool stuff like this to share then please send us some photos. Our "e-mail button" is always at the top right-hand side of this page...AWESOME!!

Wacky Homemade Batmobile & Bat-Blog Promotion

I found these 2 photos of a "Homemade Batmobile" on one of my favorite Batman Message Boards. When I saw them I knew they had to be shared here because they are so hilarious! Some guy made his own Batmobile & we think he did a really great job on it. I mean, it's not a totally accurate & perfect replica car but it's really really funny! We love it when bat-fans get creative!! Speaking of creativity, the next photo is my own personal work truck, Ha Ha!! Yes, I found some white-vinyl stick-on letters at a garage sale recently & decided to advertise the BAT-BLOG on my tailgate. Who knows, maybe somebody will see it in traffic and when they get home they will come check out the BAT-BLOG web page...it can't hurt & ya gotta try to promote yourself ANY way you can. In fact, we wanna ask all our loyal Bat-Blog readers to do the same, ha ha!!
