A friend of mine sent me this photo he thought I might like because it shows some kid in Haiti sporting a Batman T-shirt. Well, I guess that is pretty cool he likes Batman but this image sort of breaks my heart a little bit. The picture is from a recent story on CBS News covering "Haiti, One Year Later". You know, people are still having some really big problems there & the American Red Cross is on location trying to help. So, I'm going to ask all Bat-Blog Fans to please donate if they can. This is just a quick post to share a few new images from BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY. This new Video Game is due during the 3rd quarter of 2011. In the 1st one we get a good shot of the new bat-suit. The 2nd one is more of a style guide type graphic. Cool, it's lookin' good so far!

OK, to be totally honest, when I first heard the news about the new animated series on the Cartoon Network called "YOUNG JUSTICE" I really didn't like the idea. I just knew it was going to be lame. Boy, was I wrong, ha! About a week or so ago I saw the 1st 2 episodes, it was a two-part story, and it was really good. The animation was great! The story was surprisingly very well written. I still sort of have issues with the whole "teenage angst" thing but I'm giving this show a chance & I hope they keep delivering great stuff. If you're a fan of the DC Universe then you're going to love the show.Anyways, the next brand-new episode of YOUNG JUSTICE will be titled "Welcome to Happy Harbor" and it airs Friday, January 21st at 7:00 p.m. on the Cartoon Network.The Basic Plot:After Speedy declines to join the new team, Robin, Aqualad and Kid Flash fear YOUNG JUSTICE is just a big joke…while new member Miss Martian fears there’s no room for her to be part of it. So when the four heroes and Superboy come up against Mister Twister, it looks like all their fears have just been realized…Now, up above is a YOUNG JUSTICE WALLPAPER you can use as a background on your desktop. OK, it's official, Warner Bros just announced that Actress Anne Hathaway will play the role of Selina Kyle in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, and we all know that this person is also Catwoman! They also revealed the Villain character that Actor Tom Hardy will be... it's Bane! Oh man, so many people thought he was going to be Dr. Hugo Strange, ha ha! OK, I'm thinking these are pretty good choices and, just like the last movie, I'm going to trust the Director, Christopher Nolan. I mean, when he announced before the last film that Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker I was sort of skeptical, ha!
