Batman Magazine Covers From Around The Globe!

This post is just sort of a hodgepodge of many different photos of Batman-related Magazine Covers from around the world. I think they're kinda interesting to see & I love how the character is popular outside the United States. The first 3 are from Argentina & the surrounding area. Over there they totally went nuts over "The Dark Knight" movie, that's great! The next one is from Asia & they have had a love affair with the popular icon for many decades! I like how they managed to get a sexy picture of Maggie Gyllenhaal in there! The last 2 are from Germany. I especially love the German Mad magazine! I used to read MAD when I was a little kid & it's good to know that children over there are getting their brains twisted too, ha ha!

For Your Consideration...

Well, it appears that Warner Bros is totally sucking up to all the people who can vote for Oscars. In many of the Hollywood Trade Magazines ( Variety, Hollywood Reporter, etc..) they have placed full-page ads to remind the voters that THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie deserves a lot of Oscars. Shown here are just a few but there are a lot more! The 1st nomination that I think needs to be honored is for Heath Ledger as The Joker. He truly did an amazing job & I'm not just saying that to be nice because he passed away. He really deserves it & he will be missed. It's kind of sad to think about all the future performances we will be missing out on. He's seriously a great talent. Of course there are many other Best Supporting Actors who should be included too. The list would be Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, & Morgan Freeman. The whole cast did an incredible job! The Dark Knight easily deserves Best Movie of The Year while Christopher Noland should get Best Director. Also, let's not forget Best Supporting Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, she's wonderful. I also think we should even mention Christian Bale for his contribution. The movie deserves a lot of "technical awards" for stuff like Art Direction, Film Editing, Best Make Up, Best Costume Design, etc...we'll have to wait & see. Because of The Dark Knight Batman movie this year's Oscars Award Show should be pretty fun to watch, & kind of nerve-racking too, ha ha!

*NEW* Batman -The Dark Knight - TV Interview in HONG KONG

This Cable TV interview took place in Hong Kong, one of the cities which the movie was filmed at. The interview of Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhaal appeared on July 13, 2008. It's pretty interesting to see "foreign press" & I'm also wondering why "Rachel Dawes" was there. I don't think she had any scenes in Hong Kong so that's kinda weird. But, it's always nice to see her, enjoy.

I saw THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie & it's AMAZING!

Late last night, at midnight, I went to my local theater & viewed the new Dark Knight Batman movie!! OH MY GOD!!! I'm not kidding when I say this movie is a True Art Masterpiece! It was amazing. Every actor's performance was brilliant, especially Heath Ledger as The Joker. Heath Ledger took the Joker character to a whole new level & he simply deserves an Oscar for his performance. But, to be honest, so does every other actor on this film: Christian Bale ( Batman & Bruce Wayne ), Gary Oldman ( Lieutenant Jim Gordon ), Aaron Eckhart ( District Attorney Harvey Dent & Two-Face Villain ), Michael Caine ( Butler Alfred Pennyworth ), Morgan Freeman ( Lucius Fox ), & Maggie Gyllenhaal ( Rachel Dawes ), among others. It's also important to note that Christopher Nolan deserves a "Best Director" Oscar & The Dark Knight should get "Best Movie of The Year"! I know I sound kinda crazy but I'm totally serious when I say that if you're a true Batman Fan you will totally LOVE this movie...go see it tonight, twice!

OK, it's not the best quality but this is the brand-new DARK KNIGHT BATMAN Movie Trailer # 2 shown in Brazil that will be released by Warner Bros Studio in a few days ( maybe this Sunday at the WHYSOSERIOUS/HAPPYTRAILS website). We really get to hear The Joker's voice ( Heath Ledger ) a lot more in this one. There's also more of a focus on Harvey Dent ( Aaron Eckhart ) & Rachel Dawes ( Maggie Gyllenhaal ). After doing a post here recently about the "I Believe in Harvey Dent" Dark Knight movie viral marketing video of "Rachel Dawes endorsing Harvey Dent for DA of Gotham City" I received an e-mail from some loser ( yeah, I said loser ) who wrote on and on and on about how ugly Maggie Gyllenhaal is & how she is not as pretty as Katie Holmes, etc...Well, I guess that guy has never seen these photos! Now, I always respect the opinions of people who have different ones than I do. Hey, it's called FREEDOM. But, readers, this guy was a total jerk who's opinion was just plain moronic. He said stuff like "Katie used to be married to Mel Gibson before marrying Tom Cruise", ha ha. Stupid dis-information crap like that. At first I thought it was a joke but this idiot was serious, ha ha! And that's an opinion I don't respect, one that's totally based on stupidity. Maggie Gyllenhaal might not fit the Barbie-Doll mold of beauty but she's independent, extremely smart, hard working, nice, funny, etc...and to me that's sexy. Whew, sorry to vent. I'm gonna lay down now & calm down.
