This is just a quick post to let people know about a few brand-new 1:50 Scale Hot Wheels Batmobile Cars that will be coming out later by Mattel in 2009. They are all a part of the WAVE 2 series of vehicles that have already started to come out. These will probably be the 2nd part of that set. Just check 'em out, they're really great! Here's the Super Friends Batmobile Car, the Tumbler Batmobile ( Camouflage version ) from the Batman Begins movie, & the Black Tumbler from The Dark Knight. OK, they're all very cool but I gotta say that I love that Superfriends TV Cartoon version the best!!

SDCC 2009 EXCLUSIVE MATTEL HOT WHEELS The Dark Knight Movie Tumbler Batmobile and Batpod Set ( San Diego Comic Con '09 )

OK, If you're planning to go to the 2009 San Diego Comic Con be sure to hit the Mattel Booth for an EXCLUSIVE Hot Wheels THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie Tumbler Batmobile and Bat-Pod Motorcycle Set! They have been keeping it pretty top secret but a reader named Tony sent us this amazing photo. Basically it's a Window-Boxed Set of 2 vehicles from the Dark Knight film. The way the vehicles are displayed inside the dox it looks like the Bat-Cycle is bursting out of the Tumbler batmobile Car...SWEET! I have also heard they will be the 1:50 Scale size...AWESOME! As we get more SDCC '09 information we'll have better pics later, so stay tuned to the Bat-Blog for more info! ( Thank You Tony, You ROCK, Sir! )

THE DARK KNIGHT COOKIES Batman Movie Food Product

Riddle me this, Batman! The following pictures were sent in by a Bat-Blog Reader ( Thanks Adam ) who is trying to find out what country these special "Tormis Cookies" were made. Anybody know? Sadly I had to tell him I have never seen these before ( they are pretty cool though ). The Tormis Pastry Cookie Company had a promotional tie-in with the recent "The Dark Knight" Batman movie & even had special POGS you could collect. I would also like to know where these are from so if anybody knows then please contact us. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this webpage.

Video: SUPER CAPERS Movie With ADAM WEST & 1966 Batmobile Car

In 2009, Ray Griggs wrote & produced a superhero-parody movie called SUPER CAPERS. The basic story is about a good guy who with no powers joins a superhero team with no clue against a bad guy with no shame. The main character wants to be a hero very badly. But he has NO powers so he is sent to a special school to learn to be a superhero. To get to the school he hires a Taxi Driver to take him, who happens to be Adam West, & the taxi is a 1966 Batmobile Replica Car! To be honest, I have not seen the film yet but it is quickly becoming a cult favorite. I might have to rent it on my next video store trip. The movie has a pretty cool promotional website worth checking out, just click HERE!
