GEORGE CLOONEY BATMAN GLOVES - Original Movie Props From Batman & Robin

Here's a great photo of the original BATMAN COSTUME GLOVES worn by George Clooney in the Batman & Robin movie. Be sure to click on the picture above for a larger, more detailed, photo. It's kind of neat seeing a piece of Bat-History even though I feel this was my least favorite of ALL the Batman movies. I don't mean to offend any fans of that movie but always feel I need to be honest. Recently I saw a TV interview with Clooney & it really renewed my respect for him as a person. He openly admitted that he hated his performance as Batman & admitted to just "walking thru the movie". He also said there were other problems. He was sort of being very honest about himself & that's refreshing.

Heath Ledger as Joker Wallpapers for a MySpace Layout

Here's the current publicity photo of Heath Ledger as THE JOKER in the New THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie. He looks pretty scary to me!! A BAT-BLOG reader wrote me & asked me to make a few Joker wallpapers he could use for a MySpace layout so I made these out of the ONLY available graphics from Warner Bros, a cool photo...enjoy Steve!

Wacky Vintage 60's Batman, Robin, & Riddler Halloween Masks

I sort of like some of the wacky bootleg items that are made to rip-off Batman & Robin, ha ha. Here's a great example of an item made to catch on to the 1966 Batman TV Series craze! Here are some Vintage Halloween Masks that are suppose to be Batman, Robin, & Riddler. These are so bad that they're cool!! I don't know why, but the Riddler is my favorite, ha ha!

Here's what the front & back cover of the Giant Batman Annual # 7 looked like. I have always loved that "Family Portrait" on the back, what a classic image! As always you can click on the photo for a larger graphic. Also, be sure to check the BAT-BLOG ARCHIVES for many more examples of great Batman Art! The ARCHIVES are located on the right-side of the blog, near the middle & there's way over 500 posts to enjoy!

Batman Custom Garage Resin Model Kits

While surfing the net the other day I came across a very nice webpage simply titled GARAGE KITS that was totally dedicated to custom resin model kits. Anyone who has checked out some of these knows they're very expensive but many of the sculptors are really great artists. Here's some examples: The 1st picture is a resin kit made by a company called BROTHERS IN RESIN. This is almost a statue. It shows a battle between Batman & Superman. Can you imagine what this would look like when painted & done? They did an incredible job on this. ( Be sure to click the photos above for larger, more detailed, pictures! ) The 2nd one is a BUST OF BATMAN done by FIGURALIA. The details are extremely well-done, very realistic ...ya gotta love this one! The 3rd example is a resin model kit ( shown finished & painted ) of a full figure Batman Statue made by SPYDA CREATIONS. It kind of reminds me of a 1970's Neal Adams version of Batman with the classic blue/grey suit with yellow logo. I also love that belt with the yellow capsules, my favorite version of Batman!! You can visit the GARAGE KITS website for more eye candy & possibly order some of these, if they're not sold out!
