New BATMAN School Supplies To Look Out For!

Here's some photos sent in by our good friend THE BATFAN. He found these really awesome Batman School Supplies at a retail store called Rose's Department Store ( We don't have that place where I live ). The Batman Backpack is made by "Fast Forward NY" & the School Supply 11 pc. Value Pack is made by "Accessory Zone". I'm totally loving the retro-style graphics on these. I mean, Batman is rendered in the "gray, blue, & yellow" color theme, what I call the "older comic book style". This is some cool stuff. Thanks BATFAN for shooting the wonderful pics. If any other Bat-Blog Readers out there spot any new merchandise while hitting the stores then please let us know.

New Retro-Style BATMAN School Supplies & Wal-Mart Exclusive Action Figures!

Our good friend THE BATFAN went on a wacky Batman shopping spree the other night & found some really great stuff at Wal-Mart. Shown here are some amazing school supplies with Vintage Retro-Style Batman Comic Book graphics! Now before you start to think you're seeing double, one set are some folders & the other ones are spiral notebooks. I thought I would show them both because they're just so beautiful, seriously, I love the artwork on these!! The one on the left is Carmine Infantino & the one on the right is Neal Adams...how cool is that!?! Then I guess he hit the action figure aisle & found this Wal-Mart EXCLUSIVE DC Universe Action Figure Set of the Dynamic Duo, Batman & Robin! I really like these figures & the packaging is pretty awesome. Now, THE BATFAN found a few more items while there ( mainly clothes ) & I'll be posting those pics later so be sure to stay tuned to the Bat-Blog! Also, if any other of YOU readers out there spot any brand-new Bat-Merchandise then please send us some information. The main focus of this site is sharing the love of collecting the Dark Knight. ( Thanks for the great pics BATFAN! )

Brand-New BATMAN School Supplies To Look For!

Right now many parents are trying to get their kids ready for school. That means buying new school supplies. Well, a friend sent me these pics of a few notebooks & folders he found the other night at Wal-Mart. They're made by a company called "Innovative Designs". They have Batman, Joker, Aquaman, Superman, & The Flash on them so some collectors are gonna want them ( I bet I'll buy some eventually ). The weird thing is they use vintage 1980's stock art ( Artist - Jose Luis Garcia Lopez ) & one folder even has the old SUPER POWERS ( Kenner Action Figures ) logo on it! I guess the art director was going for a retro-80's vibe...that's cool. Thank you to the BATFAN for sending the great pics. Readers, be sure to click on the above photos for larger versions.

The Dark Knight Bootleg Merchandise Spotted!

Our friend Zdravko has found what could be the very 1st "Bootleg Batman Item" from the new movie. He lives in Bulgaria & found this while shopping for school supplies. He said it was "Made in China", that's funny! It actually looks like a real product, that's kinda scary!

BATMAN ONE DOLLAR ITEMS At Target Stores

Yesterday I was running around town with my Sister & we hit a Target Store. When we walked in, right near the front of the store, they have an area that I call "The Dollar Store" area. Somehow I happened to look down while we passed it & instantly saw the Batman Bat-Symbol, ha ha! I'm like, "Wow, they have some Batman stuff!" We dug around & found all this neat Batman Memorabilia that is the "Comic Book" version & not the movie: 1 Light-Up Yo-Yo, 1 Package of 6 Push Pencils, 1 Package with 2 Barrel Pens, another Pack with 6 Pens, a Package of Temporary Tattoos, 2 Memo Notepads ( they have magnets on the back to attach on your refrigerator ), & 2 pair of toddler-size Batman Socks! I got all this neat stuff for less than 10 bucks. Later that day I had to go back to Target & went to another store. They had a Notebook Tablet with cool graphics on the front & another set of Barrel Pens that were different. If you're gonna hunt this stuff down just remember that it's near the front of the store & NOT the school supply area.
