OK, Here's a very cool Christmas gift idea for you Millionaires out there! This is a Super Modified Race Car with BATMAN/RIDDLER graphics. Of course it's the "Jim Carrey Riddler" from the 1995 BATMAN FOREVER movie. It's being sold by James McKeefery, who lives in Northern California. The cost is around $32,000.00. This is just a quick post to confirm that the 2nd car in the New 1966 BATMAN TV SHOW BATMOBILE SLOT CAR RACE SET will be the Jokermobile! We reported on this brand-new AUTO WORLD toy when it was news last May but there was some confusion on what the other slot car was going to be. Well, just take a look at this more current picture up above & you can see, it's... the Jokermobile! Yeah, sort of looks like a Vintage Nomad or Station Wagon, pretty cool!! The estimated release date for this cool slot cars set will be around October 2010.
Over at the DC BEYOND website they have a new free online BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD 3D Flash Video Game called "STREETS OF GOTHAM: FULL THROTTLE!". It looks pretty cool! I have not played it yet but it's a race car racing game with Batman, Catwoman, Green Arrow, The Joker, The Huntress, Green Lantern &, I think, Wildcat. Here's a fun video from the Monster Truck Jam World Finals 8 showing the race of Grave Digger vs Batman. I have always been a fan of this very unique Batmobile Car just because it's so CRAZY! Now, I'm not gonna tell you who wins the race. You gotta watch the video to find out, ha ha!
Every year the RED BULL Beverage Company has a famous Soap Box Derby Race event where people make their own cars & go totally crazy doing it! This year, 2008, it was in Cincinnati & I'm proud to say that there was a team called "The Adam West Experience" where some Bat-Fans made a replica of the "George Barris-Style" 1966 Batmobile Car! The 2 drivers even dressed up as Batman & Robin, ha ha! Here's a few pics of it & then a video where they sadly broke their car. Man, it would have been sweet if they won & we got to see the Batmobile cross the winning line...maybe next year!
As reported here at the Bat-Blog earlier this week it seems the Toyota Racing Team has joined forces with Warner Bros to promote the new DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie. Well, here's a video! ( Thanks Guenter for sending this in ).
Well, it looks like TOYOTA RACING has teamed up with Warner Bros to promote the new Batman movie THE DARK KNIGHT. Yeah, like they need MORE help hyping this movie, ha ha! But Toyota has created this special Toyota F-1 Race Car with TDK graphics & it's pretty cool! To be honest I am not that much of a racing fan but I do respect the drivers for their talents & always appreciate the beauty of the special cars they drive. The race car premiered itself the other day & both the Tumbler Batmobile & Bat-Pod Motorcycle were there. Here's some nice photos!
