Here's an interesting piece of Bat-History! This is an outdoor wall mural found in Portland, OR. It was painted back in the 1990's when "Batman the Animated Series" was on FOX TV. They also included Bart Simpson dressed-up as "Bartman" from The Simpsons...very cool!
While surfing through eBay the other day I came across this Life-Size BATMAN Statue & knew it had to be shared. Why? Well, besides being extremely cool, the same company also makes many other members of the Justice League. Just check out the 2nd photo: Superman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern!!
OK, this is sort of an experiment. This week, for "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday", I thought I would post these 2 brand-new BATMAN Desktop Backgrounds. But instead of the normal 1024 X 768 size I usually do. I'm posting these new ones that are 1440 X 900. Please let me know how these work for you guys. Do you like the new size or do you want to go back to the old format? The 1st one features a pretty sweet graphic of a recent Catwoman Action Figure & the 2nd one is a vintage Black & White Photo of the Dynamic Duo, Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder! Of course they are the 1966 TV Show version of those characters....POW!
Shown here are a few vintage TV commercials showing an older Kenner action figure toy line called "Legends of Batman". I remember when these came out around 1994 & I was not a very big fan of them. Well, there were a couple of figures that were neat ( that I did buy ) like the Joker & Catwoman. But most of the figures were totally awful, ha! They showed the Caped Crusader in many different eras of history. We got stuff like: Guardian Batman, Cyborg Batman, Future Batman, Dark Rider Batman, Night Quest Batman, Silver Knight Batman, Samurai Batman, Flight Pack Batman, and the Sleek Batmobile. So, I guess I'm going to the trouble to post all of these videos here more for a historical reference than pure nostalgia...enjoy!

OK, I thought this video was sort of heart-warming. It shows a kid named Carter who, for Halloween, had a special custom "Batmobile Car" made for his wheelchair. The theme of the chair went with his Batman Halloween Costume. Now, how cool is that?! I think it's pretty clever. Go Carter, GO!
