OK, Because of a few personal things I needed to get done I sort of took off doing the Bat-Blog on Tuesday & Wednesday. Well, I'm back! Now as every reader knows we post 2 brand-new Batman Desktop Backgrounds every Wed. It's called "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday"! So, to make up for it I'm gonna post 3 of them today...YEA! The 1st one shows the graphics to an original 1966 Batman TV Show Theme Record Album ( I hope this brings back some good memories for a lot of people ). The 2nd one is more modern & shows a current DC Comics image. The last wallpaper is a photo of a Custom Toy made by a friend of the Bat-Blog. Actually, it's a wacked-out model kit of the 1966 Batmobile. I hope you enjoy all of these & we'll post more next Wednesday, I promise!
OH MY GOD!! Here's the official "blueprint" of the 1966 BAT-CYCLE ( or is it Batcycle? ) that Mattel will be releasing later as a 1:12 Scale Hot Wheels Batman TV Show Diecast Vehicle ( Was this thing in the movie? I can't remember, I think it was ). It looks pretty cool & we can't wait to see the real thing! Now of course we hope you stay tuned to the Bat-Blog because this is where you'll get the news of the actual release date & 1st photos of the real toy. Remember, Be sure to click on the link-button down below to get yours today!
OK, I seriously don't mean for the Bat-Blog to be "Batman Tattoo Week" lately but it's just how some things happen sometimes. But, all the bat-tat photos have been really great so stop your whining, ha ha! I came across this one the other day & really like it a lot! It's the Vintage 1970's Batman Logo that they used for the comic books in the 70's ( & even through some of the 1980's issues ). It's a total classic & a very good idea for a tattoo! In fact, it belongs to a friend named David & I wanna thank him for allowing us to post it here, it's GREAT!
Just a quick post to show off this super-awesome photo of our friend Tony! He's shown here dressed up like Batman, with his lovely Wife as Batgirl ( Or is it BatWOMAN? ), & their Precious Child, Robin, The Boy Wonder! Looks like the whole family got in on the act...that's great! Thanks for sharing the fun pic Tony. You're a lucky guy. If any other Bat-Blog Readers have wacky Batman-related photos to share then please send them in today!
A friend named Jonathan sent us this photo yesterday that I knew everybody would totally love. It's his own personal Tattoo of Batman's most popular villain, THE JOKER!! It's really very well done with nice shading, cool coloring, & the expression on Joker's face is actually kinda creepy! But, that's the way it should be, ha ha! Thanks Jonathan for sending us the photo, I appreciate that & know people will really enjoy the great artwork. If any other Bat-Blog Readers have had any Bat-Tat Work done then please shoot us some pics. Our e-mail button is always at the top right-hand side of this page.
A friend to the Bat-Blog, named "Mike Destructive", sent us this photo of a painting he did recently. It is a Batman-Inspired piece titled "Zotham City"...because Batman, Robin, and The Joker are all Zombies!! ( I like how you can see the Joker's brains, ha ha! ) It has sort of a retro-groovy 1970's feel about it. Just click on the picture up above for a larger, more detailed, version. Also, I think he has it for sale or if you would like to see some of his other artwork then click HERE!
Jack Nicholson was spotted sitting near home plate at the Phillies-Cubs game in a white NY Yankees cap. Fans gave him a pass because, well, he's Jack. The Phillie Phanatic came out on the field in a Batman costume and pretended to take on "The Joker"!
