Here's an actual real-life political campaign button being distributed by Obama supporters that has a design motif you might recognize! It has the classic "KAPOW!!, OOOOF!!, ZOK!!, POW!!" graphics from the 1966 Batman TV Show. The photo was sent in by Greg, a regular Bat-Blog reader, who said, "My Dad came to visit me last week & gave me this button that one of his co-workers gave him. I knew you would like to share it at your Bat-Blog so here's a photo!". Yeah, Thanks Greg! Thanks for torturing me...I now want one of these! Ha Ha! But seriously, I do appreciate you sending the photo, that's very cool. ( As a side note: I am publishing this photo as a piece of Bat-History & I'm not endorsing any candidate. So, Republicans...don't send your hate mail, ha ha! ).
In a strange report from The Huffington Post, a very well-respected Political Blog, they featured this video of a real TV Commercial showing Jack Nicholson, in many different movie characters ( including The 1989 Batman Movie JOKER ), saying different things that relate to his approval of Hillary Clinton for President. At first I thought it was a joke or a fan-made trailer but it's the real deal. It's airing in certain cities & is kinda surreal.
The Bat-Blog received an e-mail this morning from the Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) campaign (The Dark Knight viral marketing) today:
A lot of things in a campaign look differently from the inside. Take the current media wildfire. Now, there's not a shred of evidence linking Harvey Dent to any questionable behavior. But the media is creating such a ruckus that from the outside, it's impossible to see anything else.
Well, I can tell all of you that the Dent campaign is still going strong. We're still committed to bringing Harvey Dent's message of change to every corner of this city.
Harvey Dent is not letting the smear campaign impact our campaign. He's continuing to do what a candidate does -- and he's continuing to lead the charge against the corruption that's destroying our city.
So rest assured -- this campaign is not over. Indeed, it has hardly begun. We WILL take Gotham back.

Harvey Dent realizes that the slanderous and untrue charges trumped up by a mysterious group never seen before in Gotham politics has distracted from the real issues facing Gotham - how to make our city safe again and fight the crime and corruption that is endangering our future. I Believe In Harvey Dent will hold a press conference on Sunday, April 13th at 3:00 pm (EDT) for an important announcement regarding the campaign. The audio of this event will be streamed live on this website.
CLARIFICATION: The Gotham Machinists Union has not "withdrawn their endorsement" of Harvey Dent for DA. Their spokesmen clarified that the endorsement has merely been "suspended" for the time being. The Harvey Dent campaign looks forward to the continued support of the Gotham Machinists Union.
DONUT SUPPLIER NEEDED: The Harvey Dent campaign lives and breathes off its volunteer crew. Hundreds of Gotham citizens have joined the campaign to change our city. But this week, our donut donor stopped donating donuts to us. And as anyone who has worked on a campaign knows, if the volunteers are the life's blood of a campaign, then donuts are the life's blood of the volunteers. There's been a lot of hype about the Joker website CLOWN TRAVEL AGENCY but one that has sort of been missed is CONCERNED CITIZENS FOR A BETTER GOTHAM CITY. This page is a negative campaign against Harvey Dent. Done by the Police Officers who have been wrongfully accused by Harvey Dent for being corrupt. Well, last week I signed up for the heck of it & was very surprised to find this Harvey Dent Campaign Button in my postal mail box. The funny thing is that half of it was burned. I was kinda mad at first because I thought this was part of the package I have been waiting for & somehow they sent me a damaged button, ha ha! Then I turned it over & on the back is a sticker for the "CCFABG.ORG". Hmmm, 1/2 his face is burned, is this a clue? Down below is a link button to sign-up. Since it's time for the weekly FREE Batman Desktop Background Wallpapers I thought I would post some that are a current marketing event for The Dark Knight Batman movie. Here are some "Political Campaign Posters" for Harvey Dent. He's currently running for District Attorney in Gotham City & he needs our support...I BELIEVE IN HARVEY DENT!
OK, I know I'm a major bat-nerd now when I get really excited about being placed on THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie Viral Website, ha ha! Warner Bros has created a page called "I BELIEVE IN HARVEY DENT" that is the base for their HARVEY DENT For DISTRICT ATTORNEY Political Campaign. It's a cool site that looks real & it allows people to get involved in different ways. One way is they have some really great PDF pictures that you can download & then take to a local printer to get bumper stickers or campaign posters printed, the graphics are nice! So, I had a "HARVEY DENT FOR GOTHAM CITY" banner made & put it on the back of my work truck. Plus, awhile back I found some LETTER vinyl stickers & put "BAT-BLOG.COM" on my back tailgate. Everywhere I drive or park I advertise the Bat-Blog, ha ha! OK, so I took a picture of the back of my truck & submitted it. It got accepted & is now on the page. The funny thing is that the "Bat-Blog.Com Propaganda"also appears in the photo! If any other readers have some great ideas to advertise the Bat-Blog then please let me know ( You guys might mention this site in a message board you belong to or post a bulletin at your MySpace page, hint, hint ). One last thing, in the picture down below are some of the Political Campaign Buttons & Stickers being given away by the DENTMOBILE. If any of you live in a town where they are appearing please get me some of these! I live in Oklahoma City & they are NOT even coming close to my area ( yeah, that sucks! ).
It looks like Warner Bros' latest viral marketing for The Dark Knight Batman movie will start on the west coast. The "Vote For Harvey Dent" Campaign Van will be in Los Angeles, CA on March 13th. Then Tucson, AZ on March 14th. Then Scottsdale, AZ on March 15th & so on.
