I love when Bat-Blog Fans share their personal stories & this one is kinda fun. This is a picture of a "New Adventures of Batman" Quarter Ride that Mike & his Son spotted on vacation at an Outlet Plaza in Rohoboth Beach, Delaware. Mike's son has always been a very big fan of "New Adventures of Batman" and this was an extremely cool thing for him to see. It's also pretty RARE. I think out of all the different Batman character-related vending machines this one is the most obscure. You just never see it anymore! ( Thanks Mike )

Here at the BAT-BLOG we're all extremely excited about the news of Filmation & DC Comics releasing "The New Adventures of Batman" on June 26th, 2007. "The New Adventures of Batman" was an animated series produced by Filmation in 1977 featuring the adventures of the DC Comics superheroes, Batman, Robin and often Batgirl. In this series, Batman, Robin and Batgirl battle various villians in Gotham City. Complicating things however is the presence of Batmite, a other-dimensional imp who considers himself the biggest fan of Batman and insists on helping him, regardless of whether Batman wants it or not. This cartoon TV Series is considered a Classic by many animation-nerds & we can't wait to see it! Adam West and Burt Ward reprise their voicing of the characters, and are joined by Batgirl, voiced by Melendy Britt. It will be a 2-disc set that will run about 363 minutes. Plus, it has the following special DVD features:
Audio Commentary: "Bat-Commentary" - An audio commentary from Filmation historian Michael Swanigan and Filmation founder Lou Schiemer on two of the episodes from the series.
Documentary:
Dark Versus Light Filmation and the Batman - 1977 marked Batman's return to television in Filmations New Adventures of Batman.
