Awesome BATMAN & SCARECROW Tattoo Art Photos

The Bat-Blog was recently blessed with not one, but two, amazing photos of some really great Batman-themed Tattoo Art. So, in advance, I wanna thank both readers for sending these in. The 1st one is a BATMAN tattoo inspired by the comic book artwork of Jim Lee. It was sent in by our friend Jeff. It's really well done & the "lightning in the sky" background is a nice touch. The next one was sent in by our buddy Sydney. It's really great too & features a fan-favorite villain, Dr. Crane A.K.A. The Scarecrow! This artwork was inspired by original graphic art by Mike Mignola from the collected "Scarecrow Tales" book. WOW! They're both really great bat-tats!! BATMAN WALLPAPER - Comic Book Art - Issue # 700 Variant Cover

DC Comics just announced yesterday that there will be a special variant cover to BATMAN # 700 and the artwork will be created by Mike Mignola of Hellboy fame. I took the beautiful graphics & made a wallpaper background out of it, that's what you see up above. But it's important to note that Mignola's inspiration for his cover came from a Golden Age story of Batman that appeared in Detective Comics #168. He sort of re-created the cover to that old comic book...very cool, can't wait to see it.

Nico runs a blog where he showcases his talent for customizing Mighty Muggs figures. He's made a ton of them like Hellboy 2, the X-Men, Masked Rider, Hitman 2, Red Hulk, Predator, & many many more!
