I'm a really HUGE FAN of a modern day Pop Artist named RON ENGLISH. He's a very talented guy who uses pop culture imagery in a very subversive way. Most of the time is work is kinda political & might be saying some hard truths about how evil large companies are. Companies like McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Disney, etc.. are all spoofed by him sometimes. He also works in many mediums. His 4 major areas are paintings, prints, "fake" billboards, & even plastic toy action figures. The image up above shows one of his paintings with Batman & another popular icon : Richie Rich. This a really large painting with great graphics ( Click on the small pic above to see a larger photo ). I thought I would feature it here because I guess it's Batman related, plus it's cool!!
