During the 1970's & 80's DC Comics used to have these advertisements for Hostess Twinkies, Cupcakes, & Fruit Pies that looked just like a comic book page. It was a very clever marketing campaign where different comic book characters would hock their products. Here's an example of one where The Joker does a sale pitch for Hostess Fruit Pies.
