DC Comics has marketed Batman into every product you can imagine. One of my favorite catagories are the watches & jewelry mainly because they are sort of RARE & obscure. Here's some classic examples of Bat-Jewelry Memorabilia. The 1st picture really isn't a watch but it kind of is. It's a 1966 Batman Flashlight Watch! It's shown here with the original ad that you could have used to order it & it also came with a small pocket flashlight. These babies are extremely RARE & very hard-to-find! The 2nd example is a classic! This Vintage Batman Wrist-Watch was made by DABS & COMPANY in the 1970's. It's shown here with it's original display box. They also made a Shazam, Superman, & Wonder Woman watch too but who cares, ha ha. They also made a RARE Joker Watch but I didn't have a pic of it at the moment ( not shown ). The 3rd item is something that I would love to find because it's super RARE, almost a museum piece. This is a Batman Pocket-Watch made by the Ingraham Watch Company. Not sure of the exact date but the graphics are really retro-looking. I'm guessing it's from the 1970's or early 80's. The next piece of jewelry is a really fun item. This is a "Flicker Ring" that was made for the Canadian market. It has a 3-D picture that bounces back & forth from Robin to Batman ( Burt Ward & Adam West ). This is really cool! The last picture shows a few examples of Vintage 1966 Batman Jewelry items: Pins, Brooches, & Key Rings. These are shown on their original display cards & are pretty hard-to-find in MINT shape....enjoy! Be sure to check the BAT-BLOG ARCHIVES for many more examples of RARE Batman items & toys. We have over 500 posts to drool over. See you tommorrow!
