Here's what the cover to Detective Comics # 58 looked like back in the 1940's. Wow! Readers who were around during the "Golden Age" were lucky....this is a masterpiece of ART! People today laugh about 10¢ covers being so cheap but I bet that was a LOT of money to a little kid in those days!
