Check out these 2 wonderful photos all the way from England. Our friend, Michael, who lives in Leeds, went to the BATMAN LIVE event in the UK ( Super-Jealous! ) & took these pics. The 1st one is an advertising standee of Batman that he saw in the foyer of the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle. I begged him to steal for me but he's a good citizen & would not do it, Ha Ha!
Then, Michael got this great shot of the Official "BATMAN LIVE" Souvenir Merchandise they have on sale. It looks like there are many different T-Shirts to choose from, a few Ceramic Coffee Mugs, a Program Booklet, and even some Batman Cowl Masks! ( Be sure to click on the photo for a larger version ). Great, more cool Bat-Stuff I can't afford, ha! But really, I can't wait till this show hits the USA next year. Thanks Michael for sharing your photos, you ROCK, Sir!
Over at the Official Website for the BATMAN LIVE: World Arena Tour they have finally opened their online store! Inside you can find a cool Souvenir T-Shirt & Ceramic Coffee Mug. The shirts are sold in both Adult & Kids sizes. The prices range from around $25 to $32, ouch! The Mug is about $11.34. Remember, their prices on the site are in British Pounds, so if you're an American then use the Currency Converter to see Dollars. CLICK HERE!
Here's a totally cool photo from a Bat-Blog Fan named Jerry. Two months ago he went to Okinawa, Japan for vacation and, while there, saw this big Batman Statue in front of a local souvenir shop on Kokusai Street (also called "International Street"). I really love this picture but it also reminds me about the current tragic events in Japan. The Japanese People still need help. So, I gotta ask everyone, if they can, to please donate to the AMERICAN RED CROSS. Thank You. Oh yeah, before I forget, a special thanks also goes out to Jerry for sharing this fun pic, it's GREAT!!
Here's a random photo I saw on Flickr the other night & thought it was too good to not share. It's a Vintage 1960's Carnival Souvenir Photo showing a little kid poking his head through a hole to have his picture taken. The background has a painted scene of Batman & Robin. The end result? It made the kid look like Robin....very cool!
