Check out this new BATMAN Merchandise that just became available. Here are 2 Glass Tumblers with humorous sayings & retro-style bat-graphics. In fact, if you're a Vintage Toy Collector you'll probably notice the "Batmobile" image is the Kenner Superpowers Action Figure Vehicle. Yes, this clip art is from the 1980's. One glass says, "Wanna Come To My Bat Cave?", & the other one is "Chicks Dig The Ride!", ha ha! I really like these & someday, they will be MINE! Here's a good place to get them, just click the link button down below:
About 2 months ago, here at the Bat-Blog, we reported about the next new Batman PEZ that would be a part of the DC Comics' JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA Set. Back then we had a "prototype photo" & as it turns out it looks pretty much like the actual item. So, up above are some pictures of the real deal and we also get to see the PEZ Display-Box Header Card. There are three to collect: Superman, Green Lantern, & Batman! If these are not in your stores already they will be soon so please be sure to keep an eye out. I think these are pretty cool!
Here are some brand-new pieces of Batman merchandise just in time for Summer! Superhero Stuff is now selling DC Comics Beach Towels. The picture up above shows the 3 different Batman Towels they are offering ( The 1st one is my favorite ). There are also a couple with Superman graphics but who cares about him, ha ha! ( Just kidding ) To view then all, or buy a few, then just click the button down below:
Here's a wonderful photo of an extremely RARE piece of Vintage Batman merchandise. It's a 1966 BATMAN Shirt... for a Little Girl. This item was bought off eBay awhile back from our friend Doug, who wrote, "I recently purchased this 1966 Batman Girl's Summer Shirt on eBay for a song. It is size 3X small cotton shirt with the Joker, Penquin, Batmobile, Batman, and Robin. It also has Gotham City in the background. Please note the Batman Logo is highlighted in pink and other features as well. This is the first one I have ever seen."
Yes, I have to agree that this is the very first time I have seen this variation. Now, I've seen this same graphic used on Baby bibs, Pillows, T-Shirts, etc...but never on a little girl's outfit & never in the strange hot pink variation, very cool! Thanks to Doug for sharing. So, do YOU have a RARE Batman Collectible you would like to share? I'm talking about a "Museum Piece" you have never seen before. if so, then please shoot the Bat-Blog a photo & send it to us, thanks.
The Dark Knight is well known for his Large Rouges Gallery ( Villains ). You have: The Joker, Catwoman, Bane, Two-Face, The Riddler, Penguin, Hugo Strange, etc... But now you can add "The Evil Gingivitis"! Here is a recent Batman Product that I never knew existed. What's up on that!? While doing some research on the Internet the other night I came across this item by accident. It's "Batman Listerine Smart Rinse". The graphics are from the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Animated Series on the Cartoon Network. Now, I have seen the B:TB&TB Reach Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, and Bubble Bath, but have NEVER seen this! Did this come out in Canada or something? From the website I saw this from it seems like it has been out awhile... weird!
I recently got a message from a guy named Steve who is searching for a piece of his childhood. Well, he's looking for a Batman Rain Coat that he had as a kid in the 1970's. He wrote me to see if I had any information but I have never seen this bat-product before. The cool thing, he made these 2 awesome drawings to represent what he's looking for. Yeah, he got into heavy detail here, ha! the Coat was made out of Heavy Black Latex Rubber & was sort of like a Poncho. It had a Bat-Cowl Hood with a Clear-Plastic Visor. On the back was a Large BATMAN Logo ( 1970's Style ) inside a Yellow Oval-Shape. So, has anybody ever seen this thing? If so then please let us know. Thanks.
Here's a brand-new Batman product to totally keep an eye out for! It's a BATMAN USB FLASH DRIVE created by Mimobot! The very 1st one in the series looks like the Dark Knight from 1939, a Golden Age version. Then, they're gonna release 4 other comic book versions that are more modern day. In that set ( shown down delow ) there will be Batman, Robin, The Joker, and Catwoman... MEOW! The "1939 version" will have a limited edition run of 5000 and comes preloaded with exclusive Batman MIMOBOT wallpapers, screensavers, and avatars. One thing to consider, if making a purchase, is that all Mimobot USB Flash Drives are sold in different sizes: 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, & 16GB. For more information be sure to click HERE
Here at the BAT-BLOG I was recently contacted by one of the companies I help promote Batman merchandise for. They asked me if I would do a product review on one of the items they sell, that they would send me one. So, of course, my answer was, "Heck yeah!" ( ha ha ) But I told them that the danger would be that I would be totally honest about it. They were fine with that & told me that I could pick out anything from their website. Wow! Now that was actually pretty fun! The company I'm talking about is SUPERHERO STUFF. After scanning their pages I found this very cool Batman Bobble Head Nodder made by NECA. Overall it's a really excellent product. The quality is wonderful & the paint job is well done. I love this piece & I'm proud to display it in my collection. OK, now hold on, my main reason for this posting is to talk about this company. I know that some people might be cynical about a review when I'm sort of "getting paid". But not really, I mean, just go through the Bat-Blog Archives ( located at the left side of this page, near the middle ) & you'll see that I'm a very serious Batman Fan & Collector. I've been doing the BAT-BLOG for over 4 years now & I think I'm pretty dedicated. Plus, I'm NOT going to sell my integrity for a $20 item, ha ha! Now one of the early reasons I chose SUPERHERO STUFF to sell things is because I have bought many items from them in the past & they have always had really great service & their prices are very decent. They get your items to you fast & pack them very carefully. Plus, they're one of the few companies that are sort of "progressive". What I mean by that is that they're always adding fresh new product & keeping the website up to date. So, in closing: this BATMAN NODDER is extremely cool, I really like it. I also like SUPERHERO STUFF for providing my readers with excellent service. So, if you're in the market for some Superhero Merchandise ( T-Shirts, Toys, Belt Buckles, Graphic Novels, Action Figures, etc... ) then please hit them up. If you are not familiar with this company then just click the banner down below.
OK, I don't know what the deal is this moment about the Japanese but they are going totally crazy for Batman right now!! Here at the Bat-Blog we have reported a few new pieces of bat-merchandise lately that are exclusive to Japan. I love this area of collectibles because this stuff is not only hard to get but it's also very cool. Now, this is kind of weird, but here's a Batman-shaped Bottle of Mineral Water. I think it's really neat but I wish they would have made a "Batman head for the bottle"...that would have been better & would have completed his costume, ha! But I bet it would have made the thing way more expensive to produce so I guess I sort of understand that. Anyways, it's still pretty neat! They also have one that looks like Superman ( not pictured here ). Oh yeah, just to be clear: The 1st pic is from that companies official website & the 2nd one is a picture of the real actual item.
Just a quick post to remind Batman Collectors in Brazil that there's a brand-new Batman product you might pick-up while at the Drug Store. Also, while you're there, grab me one too! Ha Ha, I thought this weird piece of bat-merchandise was actually pretty cool. It's just a Box of Band-Aids but it has graphics that are totally different than the ones sold here. I'd like to end this post by asking all Bat-Blog Readers outside the USA to please let us know what kind of cool stuff you guys have in your country, thanks!
WOW, a girl sent me photos of her underwear! OK, it's NOT what you think so get your mind out of the gutter, ha ha! Our good friend Jennifer recent hit a few retail stores & found a some brand-new pieces of cool Batman Merchandise. She said that at Target she found these 2 Pair of Batman-Themed Underwear for $8.00 each. That's a good price. Looks like you have a choice of Boxers or Briefs. Then at Wal-Mart, she found this fun Batman Reach Toothbrush, the 2-Pack! Now, they have been making these for awhile but I think the graphics are different on these. Many many thanks to Jen for sending these great pics & info! I love weird Bat-Products like this & know that many Bat-Collectors like them as well. If YOU, the Bat-Blog Reader, find any neat new Bat-Stuff while you're trolling the stores then please let us know. Sharing the love of Bat-Collecting is the main focus of the Bat-Blog!
This was on eBay the other night & I thought it was too cool NOT to post! This is the Original Production Art for the Batman ( Dark Knight Collection, not the last movie ) "Blast Shield"Action Figure made by Kenner. This was a "boxed item" that came out, I think, in 1991. I remember when it was in the stores & I thought the box concept was kinda cool. But even cooler is this original artwork by Dick Giordano because he's such a Comic Book Artist Legend! I would totally love to have this & Christmas is coming up, hint, hint.
It looks like he wears briefs! Ha ha! Here's a photo I saw over at my favorite 1966 Batman Message Board. It was posted by my buddy Darren & he explained that this is a brand-new product (for Men) that they're selling at Wal-Mart. He said they were only about 7 or 8 bucks, not a bad price! I might have to get a pair. You know, for the ladies. MEOW!!
A new friend named Lauren, who just recently discovered this site, sent me a really nice letter saying how much she enjoys the Bat-Blog & you know I always love that! Well, She was also nice enough to send some really wonderful photos of an "Animated Batman Lamp" she recently bought. The thing is extremely cool! When you push a button on the base it lights-up, plays the 1989 Batman movie theme song, & then a fan blows his cape to make him look regal & majestic, ha ha! Oh man! How cool is that?! Then, when I e-mailed her to ask where she got it she said Amazon & then, because she was so excited about how cool this thing is, she made a video to show the functions of the lamp ...WOW! Thank you very very much Lauren! This thing is so awesome it really makes me want to get one tonight, ha ha! If any other readers would like to purchase one then all I ask is that you use the link button down below. For every sale I will probably make about 10 cents, ha ha! But really, I just think this is an amazing new piece of Bat-merchandise. Thanks again Lauren...YOU ROCK!
This Vintage TV Commercial will bring back fond memories to anybody who is over the age of 30! It's for a famous product called UNDEROOS which were basically little kid's underwear made to look like superhero costumes. I know that I personally had the ones of Superman, Batman, & The Flash, ha ha! My sister had the Wonder Woman set & practically lived in them, ha ha!
A Brand-New Batman Product to look out for is this GROOM N' GO Bath Set! It comes with a Bottle of Shampoo, a Can of Moldable Foam Soap, & a Play Shave-Razor. I really like the graphics on the can & even the display box, very cool. They're popping up at Target Stores so next time you're there be sure to grab one.
Ha Ha! A friend of mine told me he saw a new Batman Bubble Bath called "Crazy Foam" at Target where the bottle has a huge Batman head. He said it wasn't designed like the old 1970's Crazy Foam but a more modern design, just with the same name. So I ran over there to get one & couldn't find it, but I did find this wacky bat-item! I guess some stock person found this old merchandise in the stockroom & put it out. It's a product from "The Batman" cartoon-era. It's a small plush pillow that gets cold when you freeze it in the refrigerator. Then you place it on sore muscle areas. It's kinda cute but the main reason I bought it is because it's so extremely www-weird. If any of you readers come across brand-new Batman items please let me know so I can share with other collectors, thanks.
I guess it might be childhood nostalgia but I really love old pinball machines. So, it was nice to hear that a company named STERN PINBALL, INC with be making a special THE DARK KNIGHT Pinball Machine this year! The Bat-Blog got a hold of a "prototype graphic" of what it is gonna look like! Be sure to click on it to see a larger, more detailed, photo. The graphics are pretty cool & I wonder what kind of sounds it's gonna make. STERN PINBALL is very well-known among Pinball Enthusiasts for making highly-detailed machines that are as fun to play on as they are to look at. They have done Indiana Jones, Spiderman, Shrek, Pirates of The Carribbean, among others. The official website for the company has not released any new product news on this TDK game yet but here's a link if ya wanna check out their other machines. It will give you an idea as to the quality. They make really nice stuff!
What? They're making merchandise for this movie? No way! Ha Ha, here's an interesting new product I came across on the internet that is gonna have to be the official calendar of my house next year, THE DARK KNIGHT BATMAN MOVIE 2009 Calendar! The cover features photos of both Batman & Joker ( Heath Ledger ) plus the graphics inside look pretty cool! I've included a link button for more information & they have some other Batman Calendars as well:
Here's some new photos just released from a company called HOT TOYS. They will be making these two 1/4 Scale Statue Busts of The Joker & The Dark Knight! They will be approx. 9 1/2" Tall & the release date is scheduled for late June or early July, right around the time of the movie. The one of the Joker is extremely detailed & I think it captures "Heath Ledger's essence" pretty good. What do you think about them? Please comment down below & let us know what you think. People, there are gonna be a TON of products for this movie. I might have to get a 2nd job, ha ha!
