Here's a quick post to share some photos of some Brand-New BATMAN Toys that are in stores now. The 1st pic is the 2011 MONSTER JAM BATMOBILE TRUCK by Mattel. It's HUGE! We're talking 1:24 Scale. Plus, it has a Die-Cast Metal Body...cool!
Next up is a very strange set of new toys. Fisher Price will be releasing these DC SUPER FRIENDS Little People Figures. These are made for Toddlers ( ages 1 to 4), but I know Adult Toy Collectors are gonna want these too. Shown here is the BATMAN & JOKER Set. Plus a new Batmobile & Joker Car! There will be many more figures, vehicles, & playsets. Yes, we're all gonna need a second or third job to buy all the cool Bat-Stuff in 2011, ha!
Just released in stores right now are some extremely super cool BATMAN SHAKE 'N GO Toy Cars by Fisher-Price! Of course they're a part of the never-ending DC SUPER FRIENDS Toy Line. There's a Brand-New BATMOBILE for Batman, a JOKERMOBILE for Joker, and even a MR. FREEZE CAR too! Our Bat-Reporter Friend, Batmobilly, got some amazing shots the other night while he was shopping. I really like the look of these cars, but the packaging is so beautiful it could make you cry. No, I'm not crying, it's just that some ceiling fan blew some dust in my eye... really. To the Batcave! Once Batman sees the Bat-Signal in the sky, he’s out on the road again, chasing down The Riddler to save the day! Fisher Price ( Mattel ) is coming out with a new extension of their DC SUPER FRIENDS Toy Line called "Geo-Trax". Which, are sort of like a Train Set. The first item to come out will be the BATCAVE R/C Set! It will be sold exclusively at Toys R Us and the Fisher-Price Online Store. The retail price for will be around $66.00.
As an extension of their DC SUPER FRIENDS Toy Line, Fisher Price ( Mattel ) is adding a few New Play Sets with motorized vehicles called "GEO-TRAX". The main component will be the BATCAVE PLAY SET but there will be some extra pieces like these. Shown here are two expansion packs: GOTHAM CITY and The JOKER'S LAIR. They are sort of like Train Sets & each one comes with a vehicle & a figure. The GOTHAM CITY scenery has a bank to rob and a jail to break out of, ha! All of these are made to add to the deluxe BAT-CAVE PLAY SET. You know, to keep growing your collection. They will be sold exclusively at Toys R Us and the Fisher-Price Online Store. The Suggested Retail Price will be around $33.00 each.
Here's a cool video a friend sent us a link to. It's a basic presentation by a Mattel Spokeperson of some new IMAGINEXT DC SUPER FRIENDS TOYS coming out this year. These were presented at the last 2011 TOY FAIR. It looks like they're coming out with a brand-new multi-level Bat-Cave and a ton of new Batman Figures! Here, we get to see the Penguin & his Penguin-Sub, Another Batmobile Vehicle, Clayface, & Catwoman with her Cat-Cycle. Man, how many items are they making for this toy line? I'm gonna need 3 more jobs to buy all of this stuff, ha ha!

Anybody who's been reading the Bat-Blog for awhile knows that our very best friend in the whole wide world is a cool kid named Desmond! I mean, this little guy is crazy for the Caped Crusader! Here he is modeling his new BATMAN Hoodie-Jacket his Mom found at K-Mart. It is a Fisher-Price DC Super Friends Batman print with little bats all over. It's ONLY MADE in children sizes which makes his Dad very very jealous, ha ha! But I have to admit that I'm a little envious too...because that IS one cool Batman Jacket! But I'm happy for Desmond because I know he is a major Batman Fan. He loves to watch every Batman show there is, from the campy 1966 TV Series to the new "Brave and The Bold" Cartoon. That's AWESOME! Thanks to his parents for sending these wonderful pics. I loved seeing the little guy again & I know that some of my readers are parents too & will enjoy this news.

Just in time for Christmas is this totally amazing DC SUPER FRIENDS TRIO Play Set! Our good friend "Batmobilly" spotted this treasure while shopping the other day at Target. It looks like Fisher Price has come out with a BATCAVE SUPER MEGA SET & it's totally AWESOME! Click on the picture up above for a larger version, it's beautiful! You get the Batcave, a Batmobile Car, the Joker-Bot, the Batwing Jet, 6 other accessories/mini-vehicles, and a TON of figures!! The characters include: The Joker, Robin, Batman, Superman, Penguin, Riddler, & Mr. Freeze. There are 11 figures in all with a few different variations of Batman, Robin, & the Prince of Crime, The Joker! WOW! This is CRAZY!! I'm gonna go out on a limb here & say that this is the coolest Batman Toy of 2010, yeah! Thanks for spotting this Batmobilly. This is just a quick post to announce that there are a few brand-new TRIO ( Fisher Price ) DC SUPER FRIENDS Figures in stores right now. These pics were sent in by our friend Batmobilly. He bought these at Toys-R-Us last night. They are special 2-packs with Batman & The Riddler in one, then Robin & The Joker in another...AWESOME! I really really want these!! ( Thanks Batmobilly ).
It looks like Fisher Price just keeps expanding their DC Super Friends toy line even more! They now have a whole brand-new set of figures & vehicles called HERO WORLD. There's a Transforming Batmobile, Batman & Batcycle, and Joker with his Funny Car. The figures include: Superman ( comes with Krypto The Dog ), Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, and The Joker. Plus, they're a whole new size, their scale is somewhere between Imaginext and the Super Friends figures. be sure to click on the last photo for a larger version where you can see the new stuff really good. Our Batman Toy News Reporter BATMOBILLY spotted this amazing store display the other night at Toys-R-Us!! It's for the new Batman TRIO DC SUPER FRIENDS Building Block Toys by Fisher Price ( click on the pics for larger, more detailed, versions ). I bet that when he went around the corner & saw this thing his eyeballs must have bounced out of his head, ha! If you have small children who love BATMAN then you're gonna want to keep an eye out for these brand-new toys by Fisher Price. They're called TRIO DC SUPER FRIENDS & they're basically a building block game with small figures. The 1st two out of the gate will be THE BATMAN BATCAVE Play Set & The JOKER-BOT!! These are totally awesome! As you can see by the sample photos, they can be built in many different ways. I'm really loving these because they not only extend their already existing IMAGINEXT Action Figure toy line, but they also add a lot of game play & use of imagination...very clever. The BATCAVE has an approx. retail price of $35.00 & The JOKER-BOT is $18.00. These should be in store very soon if they are not already.
Fisher Price has come out with a new DC Super Friends Playset called "Joker's Fun House". It's from their Imaginext line of toys so it's made for very little kids but I gotta say that I think it's pretty cool & wouldn't mind having one myself, ha! Our Super-Excellent Retail Reporter, BATMOBILLY, just discovered something pretty cool over at his favorite Target Store. In their "Easter Holiday isle" they have an EXCLUSIVE Fisher Price Imaginext DC SUPER FRIENDS EASTER BASKET! The packaging is made to sort-of look like a basket & it comes with 3 Action Figures, 1 Accessory, & 1 Vehicle. It looks like BATMAN, MR. FREEZE ( with Freeze Chamber ), & THE JOKER ( With Jokermobile )! It retails for $14.99 and that's not a bad price! Thanks to Billy for reporting this awesome news!! Just a quick posting here. This is a pic sent in by our good friend Batmobilly! He said he just saw this action figure at Wal-Mart & it's sort of a very hard one to find so he took a picture. It's the ROBIN WITH BATCYCLE from the Fisher Price Imaginext DC SUPER FRIENDS toy line. Later, I told Billy that one day I was at Toys-R-Us. They had a HUGE area for all this great DC SUPER FRIENDS Action Figure stuff ( Vehicles, Play Sets, Figures, everything! ). There was a TON of toys & it took-up almost 1/2 the row. Out of curiosity I started to add-up all the prices in my head. Just to buy all the stuff they had that one day it would have cost like $300 dollars! The thing to keep in mind is that this is not even all the toys they have made ( or will make ). Not even close. Plus some other stores have "Exclusives", etc... So, I guess if you're like me & can't afford to buy it all ( I tend to be a "Completest Collector" ) then at least just get the few pieces that you really like. Well, this ROBIN figure with Bat-Cycle would go on that list because it's really cool!
The Bat-Blog is pretty famous for having a ton of really super-great Batman Wallpapers. Yeah, I know that sounds sort of conceited, but it's not that way... if it's true, ha ha! Well, today I thought I would post a few that are very funny. That way, you'll be cheered-up at work or home while you're on your PC. That sounds good, right? Trust me. they're really funny! The 1st one is a beautiful graphic sent in by our good friend Gerry. He's an extremely talented Graphic Artist & he made this awesome picture of the "Oceanic Repellent Bat-Sprays". We all remember the classic scene from the 1967 BATMAN Movie where Batman ( Adam West ) is lowered from the Bat-Copter on a rope ladder, over the ocean, & gets attacked by a shark. He then asks Robin ( Burt Ward ), "Bring the Anti-Shark Repellent Bat-Spray!" It's a total fan-favorite! In the movie Robin searches for the "Shark Spray" by reading off all the cans until he gets to the one he needs ...hilarious! Gerry's digital-drawing he made here is just really wonderful & very well done ( Thanks Gerry! By the way, this would make a most excellent T-Shirt! ). The next one is a picture our friend Batmobilly found on eBay. It looks like somebody is selling a few Batman Custom Toys they made. They basically customized some Fisher Price Little People ( which I totally love ) & transformed them into Batman, Robin, & The Joker. They even made a Little Batmobile Car! I don't know, the picture completely cracks me up! I hope you guys enjoy these graphics as much as I do. In fact, the Shark-Repellent Spray pic has been my Desktop Wallpaper for a few days now & every time I see it I smile just a bit.
Awesome! Our good friend Batmobilly has a recent report of the retail store action for us! The 1st brand-new Batman Toy shown here is a Target Store Exclusive. It's THE JOKER from the Fisher-Price Imaginext Series. Ya got to admit that $3.99 is a pretty good price. The next item was also spotted at Target. Here are 2 different ACTION LEAGUE Figure Sets. One is Batman with the Batcycle & the other is Batman with Gorilla Grodd. Of course these are the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD versions...very cool! The last collectible is also an Imaginext Action Figure but it was found at Wal-Mart. It's TWO-FACE & it looks like he comes with a bank vault door, oh yeah! OK, I gotta send out a HUGE Thank You to Batmobilly for sending the wonderful pics, that's great! They are a part of the DC SUPER FRIENDS Imaginext toy line by Fisher Price. The 1st photo shows their Exclusive Blue Batmobile with a few Super Hero & Villain Action Figures. We showed this awhile back in the original box but these are out of the package, loose. Which is cool because you get a way better look at the individual figures. The next 2 pics are some brand-new figures that you can also ONLY buy at Target. They include a special Batman Figure & one of Two-Face. I'm really loving the Two-Face one because, not only does the figure look pretty cool but, that Special Silver Dollar Coin is AWESOME! So, the next time to you hit this retail store be sure to keep an eye out for them. Also, I should mention that the Exclusive Batmobile with 6 figures is on Clearance Sale.
